Things were so much better in the old days….Seriously???

If I had a penny for every time someone said “I remember how things use to be so much better back in my day” I think I’d be pretty rich!!
I’m not suggesting that the perception of the world from people who believe this, is not correct from their point of view, for when you have focused for a large portion of your life on everything you believe is “wrong, bad, or inappropriate” in comparison to often somewhat skewed memories of the past, this is a common place to end up.
What I am saying is, as you put your focused attention on many unwanted things that are or have happened to you, or to others you know or have observed, you dominate your vibration with many unwanted circumstances that are happening now. The Law of Attraction then responds in-kind to your vibrational offering bringing you evidence of that which is strongly pulsing within you.
So what is it that the Law of Attraction is bringing us?
Let’s say I’m strongly negatively focused on……………….and I’ve given these thoughts focused attention that I’m now experiencing strong negative emotions to, in relation to whenever I bring this subject into my thoughts.
The first indication I have created power and momentum behind these thoughts is the manifestation of more thoughts that I will have easier and easier access to because the Law of Attraction is making them more easily available to me. (the attraction of more thoughts of a similar nature is the beginning of the creation process)
Then comes emotion, I can know for sure, as I continue to feel strong emotion that I am on my way to attracting more physical manifestations that will match how I am feeling now.
Circumstances such as…..
Seeing TV programs, hearing things on the radio and observing others doing…
Being involved in conversations with others that feel the same way about the subject.
Being in the presence or observing others that are doing whatever it is I am pushing against.
And eventually if focus (vibration) is not redirected or moved to a better feeling, emotional place, we will attract the full physical manifestation of whatever it is we are strongly focused upon.

Great news if we’re focused on positive things we are wanting to experience, don’t you think?

That was a very long way of saying, when we are looking at the past as being so wonderful compared to what is happening now, we may be more orientated towards all that’s happening now that’s unwanted, with the Law of Attraction bringing us evidence to support what we believe.
So yes, it’s all out there, but there’s two sides to every story, and just as there are many unwanted circumstances “out there”, there is just as many, if not more, truly amazing, wonderful things to focus on.
Theoretically if we believe and know how this Universe and the Law of Attraction works, we would choose to focus only on that which feels good, and when experiencing unwanted circumstances would quickly move ourselves into a better feeling place and turn our focus towards what we’re wanting (rather than getting stuck on what it is we are not wanting)
And if we had been brought up knowing about these powerful strong Universal Laws it wouldn’t be a problem….
But for most of us we didn’t know, but it’s all good because it’s only a matter of time before we start understanding how we’re creating our own life experiences, and in this case….“Knowledge is Power!”
And so it is….

It’s better to focus on what’s good about what you do have….than what’s good about what you don’t have!

Okay so back to the title, it’s better to focus on what’s good about what you “do have” than what’s good about what you “don’t have.”
Now, whether this statement is true for you or not depends entirely on where you are in relation to it and is also dependent on the subject we’re thinking about, for we will be in different vibrational places on every subject that’s important to us.

If we are finding it difficult to appreciate what we have now it’s because we may be focused on things that we’re experiencing that we are not liking, the unwanted circumstances we are living.
If this is the case and we hold ourselves in this vibrational place over time that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to, this is what is highlighted to us as we look around, so in other words you put yourself in a place where you can no longer see the good that is also there.
Make no mistake, the good is there, but if we have intently focused on all that we feel is not good, this is mostly what we have easy access to through the power of our own focused thoughts.
So being grateful for all the horrible or unwanted things you don’t have is definitely an improvement from just noticing everything that isn’t good or unwanted.
But I like to think of it as a stepping stone to where we’re going, a place that’s a good improvement on where we’ve been, but by no means the end point.
For although it may initially feel good to look at what others are experiencing that is unwanted and be happy that we are not experiencing such circumstances, if we stay in this vibrational place with increased focused thoughts ( remember, we cannot observe anything without giving thought to it, whether we are aware of our thoughts or not! ) we have now included this in our own vibration therefore increasing the possibility of experiencing similar feeling circumstances in our own lives.
If we are sensitive to how we’re feeling, and are aware that our feelings are communication from our Inner Being, the Non-Physical part of us letting us know what we are creating right now in our lives, this is not a problem.
Why? Because we know we have the ability, with a little bit of effort, to adjust our vibration ( thoughts and feelings ) into a better feeling place which in turn…changes everything!!
As we all move through time this is naturally happening, but without conscious awareness of how we are creating our life experiences, it can be slow progress that tires us out.
So now is the time to really “get into the game and go for it!!”
And so it is….

Stop and smell the flowers….

I think I’ve said, I love common sayings because there’s often hidden ( or not so hidden ) truths deep within them, that the true understanding of would bring clarity and answers to many things we may have previously thought we might never have known the answers too.
Well, you may not want to stop and “smell the flowers,” hell, you may not even like flowers!
But Seriously, it’s not really about flowers at all, ( not that there’s anything wrong with flowers ) it’s about taking time to notice all the often small, wonderful, beautiful things that are happening around us that we sometimes miss because our mind is full of “other stuff.”
And by other stuff, I mean resistant or negative thoughts that are getting a lot of air-time or traffic from our constant attention or focus on them through our thought process.
If we have worked through any resistance we may have had from past experiences and are doing our best to move into better feeling, vibrational places regarding what we’re living now, we might not have a lot of resistant stuff going on, which means we are “stopping to smell the flowers” so to speak, or noticing the well-being that is always around us.
So our emotions are communication from the Non-Physical, Inner Being or Soul part of us letting us know whether we are moving in the direction of something we are wanting ( positive emotion ) or something we are not wanting. ( negative emotion )
It’s not possible for us in our physical body and mind to remember every desire we have ever had since coming forth into this physical body, but the Non-Physical part of us that has remained, yes you guessed it, in the Non-Physical realm, knows every desire we’ve had in this life, and for that matter in all previous lives, and is letting us know through our emotions, where we are in relation to all that we have desired in every moment of this physical life experience.
The question is not, are we receiving communication from our Inner being, for every one of us is whether we are knowing so or not, that is our birthright, the question is…have we been aware of it and have we understood what it has meant?
Many have taken negative emotion to mean whatever or whoever we’re observing while we’re feeling negative emotion is doing something wrong and needs to change their behaviour, whereas the true meaning is, the Non-Physical Inner Being part of us is letting us know we are now focusing on something we are not wanting to experience and emitting a vibration that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to, that will bring us something less than wanted if we continue with this line of thought.
So observing someone behaving in a way that we feel is inappropriate or unwanted does not mean that we have to try to get ourselves to like what they are doing, but it does mean that it would be beneficial if we put our attention on something that makes us feel better or on something we are wanting to experience.
It’s not the easiest thing to change our thoughts if we have become accustomed to noticing everything everyone is doing that we think is “wrong” or “inappropriate” as this will become something we see before anything else. Our focus on things other than “the flowers” causes us over time to no longer even see them!
So there is “good stuff” everywhere, but whether we are seeing it or not depends entirely on where our focus has predominantly been…. And where we have been, does not have to be the same place we are going.
Through the power of your focused positive thought you can make it so….
And so it is….

The goal is to love everything….Or is it???

Well, if we believe it is our job in this physical life to love everyone and everything, our life experience may be extremely difficult.
As we make an effort to move to better and better feeling (vibrational) places, all will usually come to the place where they may think this is what they are now required to do… And I say “good luck with that one!!”
It’s not possible to look directly in the face of something you find strongly unwanted and “love it,” although you may, and can if you are wanting to, move yourself to a better feeling place regarding it.
But if our goal or intention is to try to love unlovable things and our desire is maintained over time with strong emotion, the Law of Attraction will respond to our dominant vibration and bring many unwanted, unlovable circumstances for us to deal with. But as soon as we have moved one unlovable circumstance to a better vibrational place, along comes another and another and another for there are millions of things out there both wanted and unwanted so there will be a constant flow of not good feeling circumstances coming into our experience for us to move on vibrationally.
There are too many things in this world both wanted and unwanted to bring everything into a good feeling place, for you would need not just this lifetime, but many lifetimes to achieve such a goal.
In truth we have not come here to love everyone and every experience, but we have come to put our focused attention on that which we do love and are wanting to experience that the Law of Attraction will respond to in-kind.
We already have many things within us, especially if we have lived for some time in this physical body without knowing how we were creating our reality, that may need moving to a better feeling place, so I find it quite unnecessary to look out into our world trying to find more unwanted circumstances to focus on, and bring into a better vibrational place?
Of course there is nothing wrong with doing this, and there may be many benefits, but it does make for a difficult life experience in many ways. We usually realise after a short period of time, that this may be a futile endeavour and start putting our attention more on what we are wanting to experience and what we feel good about.
Once we have thought negative thoughts they cannot be taken back, but they do become non-attracting with the lack of our focused attention. It does not matter what stage in the creation process we are at, for we have the ability to gradually change our thoughts at any point, but it would be true to say, it’s much easier before a physical manifestation has come into our reality, for once this has happened, now we have the observation of something in front of us that we have to deal with. It’s much easier before the physical manifestation has happened to change one’s focus in a more positive direction.
So for the full physical manifestation of anything, there needs to be power and momentum that is achieved through focused thought that’s maintained over time producing strong emotions.
The stronger the emotion we’re feeling, the closer we are to a physical manifestation that will feel similar to the thoughts that originally created it.
It matters not whether the emotion is positive or negative, positive emotions are creating and attracting wanted experiences and negative emotions are creating and attracting unwanted experiences.
So our emotions are very important and are communicating valuable information to us about where we are and what we are creating in relation to what we are wanting.
I would never seek unwanted circumstances to love, but I do make an effort to put my attention on things I do love and see the best in them and to move to better vibrational places regarding subjects that are important to me…otherwise I let the world take care of itself.
Remember putting your attention on circumstances you are not ready to move to a better feeling place on only adds power to that which you are not wanting. It’s a good idea to leave these subjects until you are generally in a better feeling place and able to deal with them.
But really it doesn’t matter too much, for once we truly know how we are creating our lives, it’s only a matter of time before we start improving our thoughts and start living the more improved life experience we came here to live!!

How does our vibration create our life experiences???

If we were to look in a dictionary, vibration is simply described as a rapid movement or quivering of particles. Early in the 19th Century, scientists in the area of Quantum Physics discovered everything that exists in the Universe is energy vibrating at different speeds and frequencies, and by only observing something, you affect how it vibrates with your expectation. So your expectation effects what you’re observing, meaning you aren’t just observing, you are playing a creative role in everything that’s happening.

What does this mean for us?
To understand how life is working and how we are creating our life experience, it’s important to know everything in the Universe is energy in motion which is vibration, even though it appears solid and static. That being true, the thoughts we think produce emotions within us that emanate out of us as a vibration of a specific frequency and is responded to by the Universe.

Who responds to what?
The Universe (Law of Attraction) responds with the same vibrational frequencies that we’ve originally given out, in manifested form. We are asking for what we’re wanting through our focused thoughts, and the Universe is responding equally to everyone with manifested evidence of the dominant vibrations within us.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that matter doesn’t manifest the moment you have a thought about something, as the physical manifestation of it does not immediately spring into your experience.
Why is this? Because one thought, on one subject does not have enough momentum or creative power to come fully into our physical reality. For anything to manifest, there must be thought that has been thought on for long enough, (momentum) that we experience strong emotional feelings (creative power) when we give thought to any subject.
Even the emotions we feel are manifestations, which are the receiving of that which we have originally given out. If emotions are manifestations of thoughts the Universe has responded to, and they are, maybe we should look at them more closely.
What do our emotions mean?
Emotions are communication from what I have been calling our Inner Being, or Non-Physical, Soul part of us. Yes, we came forward into this physical life from Non-Physical, and when we leave this physical life we’ll return to the Non-Physical realm.
When we made the choice to come into this physical world, a part of us, the physical part, was born, the other part of us that you may or may not be entirely aware of, stayed in Non-Physical. It’s impossible to separate the physical and Non-Physical parts of ourselves.
The Non-Physical part of us is letting us know where we are in relation to everything we’re wanting through our emotions. Positive emotion indicates we’re moving towards the manifestation of something wanted, whereas negative emotion indicates we’re moving in the direction of something unwanted. The stronger the emotional feeling we have when we think about anything, the closer we are to the physical manifestation of a circumstance, that will feel very similar to the dominant feeling we’ve had on that subject when it turns up.

As you can imagine, we have thousands of different thoughts on all the subjects we may think about, which will be a mixture of positive and negative thoughts with varying degrees of emotional intensity to them. So what is manifesting regarding any subjects that are important to you, is a blending of all the thoughts and feelings you’ve had, which gives you a sort of vibrational set point on that subject.
When a vibrational set point or emotional attitude has been achieved in relation to any subject, any new thoughts you have regarding that subject, naturally fall easily into the already established emotional place, and the longer the vibrational set point for that subject is maintained, the harder it is to move to a different vibrational place. This is great when we’re sitting in a positive place, but not so good when we’re sitting in a negative place.

How does the Non-Physical part of me know everything I’m wanting?
Any moment the physical us experiences something, desires are stirred within on what would be a better experience; these desires are automatically received and known by the Non-Physical and doesn’t require our conscious awareness to be communicated. Many times we’re very aware of the desires we have, especially when we’ve held them for a long time in a resistant place. Our desires are received by our Inner Being and held at the vibrational frequency required for them to come into our physical reality without any opposing vibration signals. By opposing vibrational signals, I mean negative emotion or resistance, for it is the negative emotion that causes resistance that prevents anything you’re wanting from manifesting.
Why are my desires not manifesting more quickly?
Think about how it feels in the first moment we desire something, this is always a strongly positive feeling about what you are wanting, but depending on whether we believe we will receive what we’re wanting or not, usually determines what thoughts follow.
If we believe what we are wanting will come, it’s easier to maintain a good feeling place until we feel momentum and intensity of positive emotion, and as long as we hold steady in our good feeling place, sometimes in the face of evidence to the contrary, the physical manifestation must eventually come, it is Law!
If we don’t believe what we are wanting will come, and we maintain a not good feeling place until we feel momentum and intensity of negative emotions, and we hold steady to the resistance we’re feeling, the physical manifestation of more of what we are not wanting must eventually come, it is Law!
Remember, nothing is set in stone, and we always have the ability to change our vibration in any moment we choose. Once we know our emotions are communication from our Inner Being, (and not evidence there’s something wrong with who or what you’re giving your attention to) the trick is to become aware of how we feel and move ourselves to the best possible feeling place we can.
As we gradually improve our thought, we improve the manifestation that will unfold and the good news is… no matter where we are, on any subject that is important to us, we have the power to move to a better feeling place about it now.

I am not saying this is always easy, and it does take some time and effort, but I believe in the strength and power that has always been within us to create our own lives, for I have experienced this in my own life.
Look closely at your own life and those that you know well, for it’s through your own observations and life experiences we see evidence of how life really works…

Are you holding a grudge?…Who do you think you’re hurting???

It’s true to say, most of us have held a grudge against someone at some time or another in our lives. It can be a natural reaction when we feel like someone has wronged us in some way, or we have been faced with a situation where we feel there has been an intention to purposely hurt us. It is not possible to look at something that is clearly unwanted and disregard it or be happy about it, but it is possible to move into a better feeling neutral place about it. Through my own experience, and by observing many others, I have come to the following conclusions;
1. Holding a grudge hurts the person holding the grudge the most.
2. Holding a grudge doesn’t change what has already happened.
3. Trying to hurt others only brings more unwanted circumstances into your life.
4. As long as you hold a grudge, you give others power over how you are feeling, the power that you should have, and that never feels good.

Some may say, “why should I forgive them, what they did was wrong”. Forgiveness is not about saying what they did was right or wrong, and it’s never about making the other person feel better, it’s about making ourselves feel better and being able to move on, to bigger and better things, rather than staying stuck in a miserable place that doesn’t feel good.
It’s completely appropriate to decide what it is we’re wanting to experience in our lives, but focusing on what others are doing that we may disapprove of, only attracts more unwanted circumstances with the same emotional feeling into our life experience. This is because, we get what we think about, or more aptly said, we get back how we feel. Whenever we think about something, it always produces a feeling within us, and the feeling we get is always communication from our Inner Being or the Non-Physical part of us, letting us know where we are in relation to what we’re wanting, regarding the subject being currently thought about. If we think about something and don’t have any feelings either positive or negative, we can be sure it’s a subject that currently does not matter to us, for anything that is important, will induce an emotional feeling within.

For example, if I’m annoyed about the way someone has been behaving, the fact that I am annoyed is an indication I am moving away from that which I am really wanting. One of the strongest desires within us is to be happy, and because we grew up with people around us trying to control everything we did so they would be happy, we may have continued on, in the same way. Many have realized it’s not really possible to truly control others, especially in the long-term, as it just makes everyone involved miserable, but we may not be sure how to change, or what to do.
Through our emotions, our Inner Being communicates with the physical here and now us, letting us know where we are in relation to everything we’re wanting. Negative emotion indicates movement in a direction that is taking us further away from what we’re truly wanting, whereas positive emotion indicates movement closer to that which we’re wanting.
Negative emotion is not bad, for its extremely valuable information when we start to understand what it means. We all have the power within us to move to a better feeling place about any and all subjects that are important to us, but many of us have not known this. Instead, we have taken our negative emotion as evidence that others are doing something they shouldn’t be and that it’s our job to control their behavior and keep them in line or we cannot be happy.
Nothing could be further from the truth, for we cannot control what others say or do, for they have the freedom to choose, just as you and I do. But there is something we have absolute control over, and that is how we feel, no one can make you feel a certain way unless you let them.

To begin with, it may seem like an impossible task, for if we were bought up just reacting to everything we were observing, just as many around us were doing, not knowing we had the power to feel better, and that feeling better moved us in the direction of what we were wanting, of course we wouldn’t have exercised a power we didn’t know we had. Nevertheless, that power pulses strongly within us, and like everything else, needs belief and positive focus, to bring it to the forefront of who we are.

The key is to take small steps if we can feel slightly better than we currently are, and we can maintain that better feeling place, that’s wonderful progress!
We didn’t come to how we feel all in one day, it requires focused thought over time and therefore changing our thought into a better feeling place does take some time and effort, but I cannot think of anything more important than feeling happier in our lives.
So let go of your anger and resentment towards others, don’t do it for them, do it for yourself, for you deserve to be happy, it is your natural birthright!!
So what will you choose now??

Observation v’s Judgement… Where are you???

Although there’s quite a fine line between observing people and circumstances or judging them, I think it can be quite an important distinction to be able to make.

Judging is noticing what is, in a negative and critical manner, with an implied feeling of wrong doing, whereas observation is noticing what is, from a neutral place without any negative or positive emotion. In other words, seeing what is in front of you, without making judgements of right or wrong.

Very few people are able to do this as most have been programmed with all sorts of things, from all sorts of people, about the rightness or wrongness of this or that… and of course, we have come to our own conclusions based on what we have been told, experienced and observed, as to what is right or wrong regarding most situations, behaviours or attitudes.

It is completely appropriate for us to decide what it is we are wanting, or how we wish to live our life on every and any subject that is important to us.
It’s not possible to get inside of somebody else and know what their intentions and desires for this life are, we have not lived their experiences, thought their thoughts, or felt their feelings, and therefore, cannot know for sure why they have reacted to each circumstance as they have. So how can anyone be a better judge than them, of what, how and when they should be doing this or that, for we cannot say with any real certainty if we’d lived their life experiences, we would do anything differently.
Maybe we would, maybe we wouldn’t? We just don’t know.
So the question is, why do we judge others, and does it improve our lives in any way?
Judging others critically always come from a not good feeling, negative place. A place of fear, fearing someone may do something that will affect us or others in a negative way. A place of feeling superiority over others, believing you know better than they do, what, how or why they should be doing this or that. A place of feeling inferior to others, therefore discounting their achievements to make one’s self feel better. Although initially, in the short-term these types of responses may help us to feel better, if we do not move to better feeling places, we can become uncaring and negatively focused, only seeing the worst in every situation we encounter.

If this happens, it’s often hard to assess whether these behaviours are working in our lives or not, because for most, it has become a way of being, something that’s been done consistently for so long, we’re no longer aware that we’re doing it.
It becomes our normal way of being, it becomes who you are temporarily being, not who you really are, just who you’re being right now. It’s not who you truly are, because we may not have been factoring in a very large part of ourselves, our Inner Being, Inner Guidance or the Non-Physical part of us.

Your Inner Being never feels inferior to others, for who you really are knows the magnificence of you! Your Inner Being never feels superior to others, for who you really are knows all beings have value, just as you do! Your Inner Being never fears what others are or are not doing, for who you really are knows you were born with the ability to change your focus at any moment and start attracting more wanted circumstances into your life!

When we start thinking in terms of what is wanted and unwanted and make an effort to redirect our thoughts in the direction of what we are wanting rather than the lack of what we’re wanting, it usually takes the judgement out of what we’re observing, and over time, puts us in a place where we’re more able to see the good in all people and situations….

We have all come forward with powerful intentions and desires, both individually and collectively, and we are moving into new discoveries about ourselves and life, and ultimately, to the evolution and truth of who we really are!!
And oh how wonderful that is!!
