Do you believe in a “Silver Lining???”

Dreamy
Every situation has a Silver Lining. Whether we will experience the benefits of it depends entirely on our focus.           Paulette De-Har

Condemnation of any other never gets anybody anywhere they are wanting to go, this is for sure, even if it does temporarily feel good to do!!!

When we see anyone in our life doing something we don’t think is in our or their best interests, it’s virtually impossible not to feel some negative emotion about it, especially if it’s someone you are particulars close too or it’s a subject you feel particularly passionate about with strong underlying beliefs held behind it. It’s not about trying to eradicate any feelings of negative emotion we may have, this is not a very realistic goal in the world we’re living in now, it’s about knowing and exercising our own god given power to move into a better feeling place, therefore, drawing what we are wanting rather than what we are not wanting into our lives.

We choose to come into this physical world to experience and decide what we are wanting to live and to then focus positively and purely as we can until this is the dominant and strongest vibration within us on whatever is important to us. It’s never wrong to say this is how I want to live, this is what I am wanting to experience in my life, that is exactly what we came here to do, but problems can arise when we focus intently and strongly on the things we are not liking and don’t want to experience rather than focusing on what we love and are wanting to experience. If we are able to diligently focus more on what we are wanting and clear any resistant that turns-up by making an effort to move to the best feeling place we can find when faced with unwanted circumstances, it’s only a matter of time before we will see signs of our improved vibrational place in the way of thoughts, feelings, and eventually manifestations that match the dominant vibrational place we have consistently achieved. This is the Law of Attraction responding to the vibrations we emit through our focused thoughts and feelings with every living species on this planet being responded to equally. Not one sits outside of this all-encompassing powerful law, whether we are aware of it or not!!!

The strength of negative emotions we may feel when experiencing unwanted circumstances will depend greatly on how much momentum we have going in a positive direction versus how much momentum we have going in a negative direction. Whether the momentum we have created is positive or negative directly correlates with what will be predominantly turning up in our physical manifestations as the Law of Attraction responds to the thoughts and feelings, the vibrations we’re sending out.
It’s interesting to realise that when we focus negatively or don’t make an effort to move negative emotions into a better place when observing those we love doing things we don’t feel are in their or our best interests, we are adding power and momentum to what we are not wanting to experience and making it more unlikely that we will the recipient of what we are wanting. This is how we help to inspire the exact circumstances or behaviours we are not wanting out of others!!!

The truth is no matter what we do, we cannot truly control any other in our experience. If we believe we have power over others, this is an illusion, for one must freely give their power away to another, it is always a two-way street. We are all free to choose that which we do our actions, that which we say our words, and that which we think and feel no matter what someone else thinks, says or does about it. The best we can hope to do is to make peace with what others around us are doing especially those we love and care about, for this gives us the best possibility of experiencing and inspiring more of what we are wanting and less of what we are not wanting and lets the other know…..
Your way may not be the way that I would choose, but I know you came here to live your life the way you want to live not how someone else thinks you should live and I trust that you are doing the best that you can and I will do the best that I can to make my experience better by feeling good and focusing on the things I’m wanting to experience and all that is already wonderful in my life.

If we don’t feel we are able to feel better about what someone close to us is doing because it goes against something we strongly believe, a belief we do not wish to change because we believe it serves us very well, or maybe it doesn’t serve us well, we’re just not prepared to make the effort to change, because lets face it, long-held beliefs are not that easy to change even if they aren’t serving us very well. If judgement, resentment, and blame are allowed to grow, this often accumulates until the dissolution of the relationship happens. Although this is often difficult, it is a very good opportunity to release resistance and move to an even better feeling place that will attract even more wanted circumstances into our future experiences…

Yes……there’s a silver lining to every cloud, no matter how black that cloud may be, but we do have to believe it’s there to find it and to make it our daily work to move ourselves into the close vicinity of it by focusing on all the good that is already in our lives!!!

And so it is….

After all they shared…..How could he simply say NO???

BarbwireSky
After all they shared how could he simply say no….Lyrics to a beautiful song by Delerium featuring Jael.
I was actually searching for a different song on YouTube and happened across this old favourite and immediately knew this is what I was looking for!!

I never watch or listen to news, but it’s amazing how things that are important for me to know or things I’m possibly interested in still make their way into my experience between turning the key, the radio coming on, and putting my iPod on!! Yesterday, the first time I got in the car I heard something about a tribute to Robbie Williams before my iPod came on. I thought, hang on…..Aren’t tributes often done when someone dies……Surely something hasn’t happened to Robbie Williams? Then I thought, nah I would know if that had happened.
I happily did my shopping then got back in the car to drive home. I was about to put my iPod on but an awesome song was playing on the radio, and since it’s only a five-minute drive home, I decided to keep the radio on.

After my song finished, I heard a somber announcer say, here’s our tribute to Robbie Williams, and I thought, Oh No, it is him…..Then a voice quite unlike Robbie Williams came on as they played someone doing many funny voice overs, and I was like, what the??? By the time I got home I realised it wasn’t Robbie Williams, but Robin Williams they were talking about……And I felt sadness…..

For those that have read some of what I write, you will know I mostly speak of moving to better feeling vibrational places, and I stand by that 100%, no matter what’s happening.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t feel sadness or any other negative emotions. Moving into a better feeling place isn’t about denying how one is truly feeling in any given moment, but is more about feeling whatever it is we’re feeling, acknowledging that’s where we currently are, and then making a conscious decision to do our best to move forward and feel better, even if it is only slightly.

Many would say, no I cannot do that, you don’t understand how I’m feeling, I cannot feel better right now. And I say, that is true, no one else knows exactly how we’re feeling about anything, even if they’ve had similar experiences. When our grief is deep and strong it can feel like we don’t have the ability to feel better, and sometimes it may take all our energy just to keep going.
In these circumstances time can be our friend, as we move through time the intensity of our sadness and grief usually lessens and this can be a good opportunity to start consciously trying to move our thoughts and feelings.

I know many struggle with thoughts about death, and it’s only reasonable we would feel strongly about losing someone we dearly love. If we believe they are now at peace and in a better place, that can help to alleviate some of the anguish we may be feeling, but how their transition back to Non-Physical energy came about, and the fact that they will no longer be around us, are realities that cannot be denied for long, and do need to be dealt with for us to truly move forward and be happy once again.

My thoughts go out to those that have lost a loved one in this way….
It’s true, we all came here to love and live this life to it’s fullest, and sometimes we can get a little off track….But when everything is said and done, we also came with the ability to feel the whole spectrum of emotions and with the freewill to choose what we feel is best for us, and although it’s a choice no one would want anyone they love to make, it is a choice we are free to make….

And so it is….

I’ve been waiting for acceptance & approval from my parents for so long….

KnowThySelf
Unfortunately many people are not allowing themselves to really feel happy because they are waiting for one or both of their parents unconditional love and acceptance.
And of course it’s wonderful when we feel we have their love and approval, but if this is not the case, it’s often because each generation, in their own right is different to previous generations, (that’s what they call progress I think!!) and for many people who are not very accepting of change or are wishing others were different to what they really are, (or maybe more obedient than they are) this can be difficult for them to accept and be happy about.
If you do not feel like you have received the love, acceptance or approval you thought your parents should have given you as you were growing up (and possibly presently too?) The most important thing to know is….Their inability to love unconditionally is far more about them than it is about you!

If our parents were not feeling good about something we were or were not doing, it was their inability or not knowing how to move themselves into a better feeling vibrational place that caused them to look on us with negative emotions or judgements, rather than us being wrong. Of course we did things that may not have been ideal, but that is the purpose they were there, to teach and guide us in a “positive way.”
It’s a very difficult task to guide another positively when we are not in a very good feeling vibrational place ourselves, but add to that the belief that others must behave in specific ways before we allow ourselves to be happy….And that’s a recipe for….Well, being very controlling and unhappy.
If we are requiring others to behave in ways we find acceptable and make us feel good, we give others the job of making us happy rather than taking the power we’ve had since the day we made our way into this physical body (and before we came forward too!!) by using our mind to bring ourselves into a good feeling vibrational place that is not so reliant on what is happening around us or what others are doing.
Now, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but everyone here is doing their best to make themselves happy, which doesn’t leave a lot to time for making everyone else happy which is the way it should be, for you cannot know exactly what will make others happy, that’s their job to figure that out and move towards it.
For those that are trying every which way to make others happy, they will eventually find it an impossible task to achieve consistently.

This being true, not much good comes from holding onto resentment and negative feelings about the way our parents did or did not raise us, for no matter what they did, most did the best that they could based on what they knew at that time, just as we are doing our best to raise our children now, based on what we know. It’s important to acknowledge the past cannot be changed, but how we feel about it now, can be changed and moved into a better feeling place if that’s what were wanting to do.
If we did receive our parents unconditional love as we were growing-up, it gives one confidence and self-esteem as it confirms what young ones know strongly as they come forward into their physical bodies, “I am a very good human being that deserves to be loved.” But if we felt we did not receive parental love, it can set up a mindset that goes something like, “If my mother or father doesn’t love me, maybe I’m not good enough?”
Of course this is not true, and most of us would agree that just because someone doesn’t love us, it doesn’t make us unlovable, but it matters more when we’re young as we’re more easily influenced, especially by those we hold in high regard and are strongly connected too.

So whether or not we felt loved and accepted or approved of by our parents while we were growing up, and even now, there comes a time when we must decide for ourselves that we are good enough and worthy human beings….
Because “who we really are” is all these things, and so much more….And when we know this is who we are, now we can see it in all others, and I say “That is so good!!”

And so it is….

Who is my Spiritual Guide???

ArmsWide
I’m sure many people have pondered whether they have a Spiritual Guide or not. This probably depends on whether we’re even believing in this concept.
As with all ideas that are new or foreign to us, it often takes some time and thought before we can come up with any opinion of where we sit in relation to this subject, and depending on where our current beliefs are, will depend on whether we will completely discount the possibility of such things.

It is not my intention to convince you into or out of what ever you are believing is right for you at this time, but it is my intention that I may give you “some things” to ponder in relation to Spiritual Guides.

When I speak of Spiritual Guides, I specifically mean the Individual, Non-Physical, Source Energy guidance that is available to each and every one of us in every moment of this physical life we are living.

Our Spiritual Guide is not some Higher Being that is a far more superior being than us, our Spiritual Guide is the Non-Physical part of us that remained in the Non-Physical realm to help guide the Physical part of us through this life journey, so in other words….”Our Spiritual Guide is ourselves!” That’s pretty tricky don’t you think? Hehehe….
The Non-Physical part of us holds all the knowledge and experiences from the previous lives we have lived, knows all the intentions and desires we had when we came forward into the life we are currently living, and knows every amended desire, intention and experience we’ve had since we’ve been in this physical life and is guiding us in a direction that will lead us to all we have decided through the living of, not just this life, but all the lives we have lived, what we are wanting, by the easiest and most enjoyable route available!!

And how does our Spiritual Guide, or Non-Physical counterpart achieve this???
Through our emotions. Whenever we are feeling any emotion, whether it be positive or negative, we are receiving, individual, personal, and awesome Inner Guidance from the Non-Physical part of us indicating in which way we are moving.
Positive emotion indicates we are moving in the direction of wanted circumstances in our life, the stronger the emotional feeling is and the longer we experience it for, the closer we are to the physical manifestation of something that will be very pleasing when it turns up.
Negative emotion indicates we are moving in the direction of unwanted circumstances in our life, the stronger the emotional feeling is and the longer we experience it for, the closer we are to the physical manifestation of something that will not be very pleasing to us if it turns up.

So, who decides what I do at any given time, the Non-Physical part of me, or the physical part of me?
Well, I’m pretty sure that most people know the Physical, here and now part of us is making the decisions in our lives, based on what we feel is best once we’ve considered all the factors that are important to us.
But when we start to understand exactly what our emotions are telling us, and we start to make an effort to move our thoughts and feelings to an improved vibrational place, our life starts to change for the better.

Many have taken negative emotion that they are feeling as an indication that someone else is doing something “wrong,” whereas it more accurately indicates, we are now either thinking, speaking, observing, or doing something that is moving us in a direction we are not wanting to go.
Now feeling negative emotion is not the end of the world and all of us experience it to varying degrees depending on how much we’ve made an effort to focus on the best in life, or on how much we’ve focused on what we are not liking, or what isn’t working in our life.
And I understand it’s not always possible to just stop something we feel we have to do, for there is often much power and momentum behind such things, but it is completely possible to feel slightly better than where we currently are while we’re doing whatever it is we’re doing…..And that does change everything!!

So we can call it whatever we want, Spiritual Guide, Non-Physical part of ourselves, Inner Being, Soul, or Source Energy….The words don’t matter, but what does matter is we know we have access to this energy that is essentially us, or who we truly are, in every moment of this physical life….
To access this power, we must do our best to move into the vibrational place of it by noticing how we are thinking and feeling at any given moment, and making an effort to feel slightly better. The more we do this, the more we will feel the absolute power of “Who we really are!”
This is what happens when the Physical and Non-Physical parts of us align and blend as one, and like anything we do in life, the more often we achieve this “Alignment,” the easier it is to return to the vibrational place of it, for you cannot mistake it when you find yourself here, for you will feel and know, that this is what you came here for!!

And so it is….

Could “Whatever”…be the best word in the world???

OrangeSky
This is a good follow-on from “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” since it is a word our children often love to use, much to the disgust of many parents I’m sure!!
So I totally get it, it can be extremely frustrating when you’re trying to communicate with someone and all they offer you as a response is “whatever” with a lot of attitude. (Yep, I’ve had that comment given to me more times than I care to remember, but I probably need to add I love to use it myself too….Hehehe!!)
But what does someone usually mean when they say this, beyond trying to annoy the living daylights out of us!!

It’s a way of saying, “I don’t agree with what you are saying right now, and I don’t like it, and I know if I try to communicate anything to you….it’s just going to get ugly cause I’m pretty sure you’re not in a place to hear anything I’ve got to say about it, so I’ll sort of keep the peace, or more to the point, keep quite otherwise I may receive some consequences I’m not wanting, but I want you to know how I feel anyway!!”

Oh, that’s pretty good don’t you think….That’s a lot to convey in just one word, but that’s totally what it does.

So I think it can be good in the sense our children are not just accepting everything others are telling them just because we’ve been in a physical body longer than they have, and although this can make you want to pull your hair out and scream, it is a very positive aspect of who they really are coming through.

Many children coming forward from Non-Physical in these times are very strong-willed and not easily lead away from what they are wanting by others, or what they are believing is good for them.
Now I understand this makes for some very challenging times, especially if we are wanting them to follow all the rules we may have followed when we were growing up, and I would go as far to say, if this is what we are trying to impose on our children, it’s very likely this will cause extreme behaviours until we learn to communicate with them in a way that includes them in the decisions we make, rather than dictating everything to them without seeking their opinions and ideas.

I like to think of it as more of a collaboration rather than a dictatorship style of communicating, and to tell you the truth, from what I see, most of us are doing a pretty good job considering the vast difference from the way many of us were brought up.

So maybe this word isn’t as bad as what some of us may have thought?
For when our children grow-up and leave the nest, if they have learnt to just follow everything someone else says, they can be lost when they’re on their own.
Of course they usually find their way, but why would we make things harder for them than they need to be? Encouraging good communication, problem solving, respect for others, and the ability to change as the circumstances may require are totally awesome skills to teach and be an example of!

It’s very interesting to ponder…. “Who’s teaching who?”
I can only speak from my own personal experiences, when I tell you, through having to learn new and improved ways of interacting with my children in a positive manner, I have become a better person….And I can only hope they learn as much good stuff about themselves from me, as I have learnt from them….

And so it is….

Why would we not tell the truth???

TreeSwing
There maybe millions of reasons why one would not tell the truth, but all these reasons come down to the same core reasons which are;
1. Fearing the possible consequences that may result from telling the truth.
2. Not feeling good enough in some way therefore feeling the need to make oneself sound better in the eyes of others, ultimately for their approval and admiration. Did you notice, this is still fearing the possible consequences of telling the truth, or more to the point, being who you really are.
This is not a very good feeling vibrational place to be in, feeling you must make yourself out to be something other than what you really are to be accepted or loved by others.
If we are coming to truly know who we really are, we would never feel the need to make excuses or not tell the truth to be seen as “acceptable or good” in another’s eyes, for we already have our own approval and acceptance of ourselves as we are, and are not requiring it from others in order to feel good or worthy.
Is it nice if others like us?
Yes, of course it is, but if we require this from every person we come into contact with, we better get very good at knowing exactly what others are wanting and expecting, and start adjusting our behaviour accordingly!
It’s not possible to be liked by every person that may be observing us “out there” for we are all in different vibrational places, meaning everything we observe is filtered through our own personal life experiences that brings us to our own beliefs about life. It’s better to accept we are all different and know it’s not possible to be liked by everyone, and just be our genuine selves!
Others will think what they will think, and whatever they maybe thinking (and remember, what others are exactly thinking is only speculation on our part anyway) is more of a reflection of who and where they are rather than whoever they’re observing or judging is.

If I was considering not telling the truth or doing something that went against what I felt was right so others may possibly like me more, the question I would ask myself would be….
Is it worth not being true to myself and who I really am to get a small fleeting moment of approval from another? Because believe me, it is fleeting and doesn’t last long, unless we’re prepared to do everything and anything we feel others want to get their constant approval, and even then, we cannot guarantee we will achieve it.
Holy Moses, that just sounds so hard, doesn’t it? And I say “for goodness sake, don’t do it!” It’s a way of being that will never ultimately lead anywhere you are wanting to go!

To tell the truth or not is a natural developmental stage we go through when we’re children as the brain starts to grow and mature, and often depending on the many varied experiences we have during our childhood, especially experiences related to how harshly we were disciplined with negative consequences, and whether not telling the truth was a strategy that worked for us, will often effect the choices we make as we grow up to whether we feel it is necessary, or in our best interests, to “tell the truth or not?”.
The reason I prefer to say,”to tell the truth or not,”rather than the word lying or liar, is I find these words to be very harsh and negative and prefer to put a slightly more neutral feeling (vibration) to an already slightly negative subject. I only use the word liar if I have become angry, which I do my very best to avoid, or better said, do my best to move into a better feeling place on before I react in a way I would prefer not too!
Anger or rage is the approximate vibrational place where the word liar usually sits, because think about it, have you heard anyone say, “You’re such a good liar darling, I could just hug you!!” not likely. Hehehe….That’s so funny!!

Ok, but seriously, for me, I know when people are not telling the truth, it oozes out of them like a disease. (dis-ease….Lack of ease!) And I find it very difficult to stay in the presence of one that feels the need to do such things. And to tell you the truth, (as if I wouldn’t…Hehehe) most people are aware and feeling that something is not right when they speak with someone who isn’t telling the truth, something always feels off, not quite right, but we may not be listening to what we are feeling, because of not understanding or knowing what it is that our feelings are telling us, and because it doesn’t feel good to think someone is not telling us the truth. (which is our natural tendency of moving to a better feeling place!)
So in other words, unless we have absolute proof that someone isn’t telling us the truth, it often feels better to discount or ignore the feelings that are being communicated to us, letting us know exactly what others are coming to us with, than to acknowledge they aren’t telling us the truth. The more aware and sensitive we are to how we’re feeling, and the more important it is for us to know if people are being truthful, the stronger our knowing of what the truth is, when we see it, hear it, or touch it.

All I can say is this, if we cannot be ourselves, who else can we be, after all, everyone else is taken.
So if you can only be you, why not be the “real you” and if others don’t like it, that’s their problem, not yours! And be proud of who you are now, because you are here, living your life in the best way you know how….
And as long as you are happy with who and what you are being, that has to be good enough….

And so it is…

Ignorance is bliss….Or is it???

DarkTree
Well I would have to agree with this statement, as long as we’re ignorant, it often is bliss because you don’t know what you don’t know, and what you don’t know can’t hurt you…( so I’ve heard? )
Well, that’s not entirely true, it can hurt us, it’s just we don’t know it’s hurting us.
The only drawback about ignorance being bliss is that there is no awareness of what we are creating in our life and how we are creating it.
Therefore the ability to deliberately move into a better vibrational
( thoughts and emotions ) places is not consciously considered because we have not been aware we have the ability to move our thoughts on any and all subjects that are important to us.
This usually means we’re living our life by default, by this I mean we may be believing things in our life are just happening “to us” and that we are powerless to do anything about it.
And although this is very far from the truth, it can often feel this way to the unaware, again this comes from not knowing how life is working and how we are creating our own life experiences.
This prevents us from taking any responsibility for what’s happening in our lives and it will be unlikely we will make an effort to move to a place that feels better than where we are by choosing thoughts that feel slightly better than what we are currently thinking.
Why would anyone make an effort to do such a thing? ( because it does take some effort ) If we don’t know what we are experiencing in our life is a result of our focused thoughts and feelings ( vibrations ) and that the Law of Attraction is responding to and reflecting back to us the original vibration frequency we’ve emitted with matching physical manifestations, we just wouldn’t make an effort.
Instead, we often do what we have been taught as we were growing up and what the majority of other human beings on this planet are doing, and that is…
Observing whatever is in front of us and having an uncontrolled, knee-jerk emotional response to it.
If it’s something we consider to be “unwanted, wrong, bad, or inappropriate behaviour,” whether it’s judgment of ourselves or others, we will usually feel strong negative emotion.
Feeling negative emotion is not bad, but it is an important sign, and very valuable communication from our Inner Being, the Non-Physical part of us, letting us know we are now focusing on something that we do not wish to experience and we would be well advised to change our focus to something we are wanting to experience, or anything that feels slightly better than where we currently are.
That being said, once we begin down the path of awareness and start to understanding how we are creating our life, not because someone else told us how life works, but because we have seen and experienced it in our own life experiences, there is no turning back so to speak.
We cannot un-know what we have come to know through the living of our own life, and although everything does constantly change and evolve as we move through time, you can never go back to a time when you did not know what you now know, even if you wanted to.
And yes, we will all have moments when we may wish we could have stayed in our world of ignorance and blame, but we usually get over that given some time and reflection. ( and let us not forget awesomely improved physical manifestations!! )
I suppose that would be denial, but even if we do deny that which we know, it will only be a matter of time before it becomes no longer possible to deny the truth of how life is working, for as the Law of Attraction delivers us evidence of the truths we have become aware of and that are pulsing strongly within us, we will see it everywhere we turn, and it becomes a futile endeavour to continue to deny it.
At this point comes acceptance of the truth, and this is a very good place to be.
Nothing is more important than knowing the truth about how life is working and knowing the truth of who we really are, for once we know this, we can start “deliberately creating” the more joyful experience we all came here to live!!
Life is supposed to be good….

And so it is….

Stop and smell the flowers….

BlueBaloon
I think I’ve said, I love common sayings because there’s often hidden ( or not so hidden ) truths deep within them, that the true understanding of would bring clarity and answers to many things we may have previously thought we might never have known the answers too.
Well, you may not want to stop and “smell the flowers,” hell, you may not even like flowers!
But Seriously, it’s not really about flowers at all, ( not that there’s anything wrong with flowers ) it’s about taking time to notice all the often small, wonderful, beautiful things that are happening around us that we sometimes miss because our mind is full of “other stuff.”
And by other stuff, I mean resistant or negative thoughts that are getting a lot of air-time or traffic from our constant attention or focus on them through our thought process.
If we have worked through any resistance we may have had from past experiences and are doing our best to move into better feeling, vibrational places regarding what we’re living now, we might not have a lot of resistant stuff going on, which means we are “stopping to smell the flowers” so to speak, or noticing the well-being that is always around us.
So our emotions are communication from the Non-Physical, Inner Being or Soul part of us letting us know whether we are moving in the direction of something we are wanting ( positive emotion ) or something we are not wanting. ( negative emotion )
It’s not possible for us in our physical body and mind to remember every desire we have ever had since coming forth into this physical body, but the Non-Physical part of us that has remained, yes you guessed it, in the Non-Physical realm, knows every desire we’ve had in this life, and for that matter in all previous lives, and is letting us know through our emotions, where we are in relation to all that we have desired in every moment of this physical life experience.
The question is not, are we receiving communication from our Inner being, for every one of us is whether we are knowing so or not, that is our birthright, the question is…have we been aware of it and have we understood what it has meant?
Many have taken negative emotion to mean whatever or whoever we’re observing while we’re feeling negative emotion is doing something wrong and needs to change their behaviour, whereas the true meaning is, the Non-Physical Inner Being part of us is letting us know we are now focusing on something we are not wanting to experience and emitting a vibration that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to, that will bring us something less than wanted if we continue with this line of thought.
So observing someone behaving in a way that we feel is inappropriate or unwanted does not mean that we have to try to get ourselves to like what they are doing, but it does mean that it would be beneficial if we put our attention on something that makes us feel better or on something we are wanting to experience.
It’s not the easiest thing to change our thoughts if we have become accustomed to noticing everything everyone is doing that we think is “wrong” or “inappropriate” as this will become something we see before anything else. Our focus on things other than “the flowers” causes us over time to no longer even see them!
So there is “good stuff” everywhere, but whether we are seeing it or not depends entirely on where our focus has predominantly been…. And where we have been, does not have to be the same place we are going.
Through the power of your focused positive thought you can make it so….
And so it is….

I need to forgive someone… Or do I???

Turtle
Holding onto hurt from the past only hurts ourselves in the end.         Paulette De-Har

Whether we need to forgive ourselves or someone else depends entirely on where we are vibrationally. (thoughts and emotions we’re having in relation to subjects that are important to us)
If we’re in the lower emotional states, for example, depression, anger or rage, just to name a few, it’s most unlikely we’ll have the ability to forgive ourselves or anyone else from these places.
I do not say this with the purpose of making anyone feel bad, for if we find ourselves in this place, it does not have to be a permanent state for us to be in, for we have the ability to move into a better feeling place.

What many of us may have been doing, is waiting for circumstances to improve so we can then have a better feeling response to whatever we’re observing, and of course, it’s wonderful to observe and focus on good feeling experiences, but if we require others to change their behaviour to what we believe they should or should not be doing, without being prepared to move into a better feeling place apart from what others are doing, we give our power over how we feel to others, and that rarely feels good.

If we continue to require others to behave how we want them to before allowing ourselves to feel better, we condemn ourselves to feel less than good, for it’s not possible to control everyone “out there” doing whatever they’re doing.
So if what we think and how we feel creates or pre-paves our future experiences, (and it does) it’s important to take control of your thoughts by paying attention to how you feel when you think a thought.

It’s almost impossible to try to censor every thought that comes into our mind, for this just makes one stressed and worried about the negative thoughts we’re thinking, it’s much easier to let the thoughts come and notice how you’re feeling for this will let you know where you are on any subject you’re contemplating. Once we know where we are, we can gradually move to a better feeling place if that’s what we’re wanting.
I understand we may aspire to move directly and quickly to where we want to be, but if there’s a big emotional, vibrational difference between where we are and where we want to be, we may need to move little by little each time we think about that subject.
I know, it’s very annoying that we can’t be instantly where we want to be, but sometimes it’s good to make peace with this truth for we didn’t come to whatever emotional place we’re in through one or two thoughts, so it makes sense it will take more than one or two thoughts to change it.

Forgiving also comes from a place of believing someone has done something “wrong” that needs forgiving, which in reality is not true.
I am not suggesting when people do “not nice things,” this is good or that we don’t have the right to say what we do and don’t want to experience in our life. But I am saying, if we’re accepting we attract what comes to us through our vibration (thoughts and emotions) that the Law of Attraction is responding to in-kind, then unwanted circumstances have come through our own focused thoughts that we may or may not have been aware of, and even if our reaction was something less than nice, this can only happen if we were in a not good feeling place to begin with.
So acknowledge that you did your best with what you knew at that time, don’t look back and feel guilty or have regrets, for this is a form of self-torture that never gets us anywhere you want to be.
This is not a way to disregard “not nice” behaviour and just continue a cycle of behaviour over and over, NO, it is accepting what we did or what others have done in the past, learning from those experiences and letting them go so we can move forward positively.
If we are in the higher emotional places such a joy, belief and knowledge to name a few, forgiveness is not usually required, or can be passed through extremely quickly to move to one’s normal general vibrational place!
Does it sound like a place worth making an effort to move towards?
What do you think?

And so our journey together continues….

Am I accepting of others???

Voices Within
Often when people talk about accepting something, they are usually referring to having to accept unwanted situations that are happening in their life, and in the lives of others.
It’s true it’s virtually impossible to look in the face of something strongly unwanted and “jump for joy” about it, but we do have the ability to gradually move ourselves into a better feeling place regarding it, although many have never exercised their power to do so, and instead have focused intensely on everything in the world they feel is “bad or wrong,” therefore attracting more evidence through the powerful Law of Attraction, of that which they are not wanting.

There may be circumstances and people we’re involved with that may be doing things we feel are not in our or their best interests. In these instances it’s sometimes difficult to remove ourselves from the situation, so often the best call of action is to make an effort to bring ourselves into a better feeling place regarding whatever they are or are not doing.
Many may say,”I cannot do that because I strongly disagree with the choices they’re making” and although we may feel this way, people will often make their choices, with or without our input and judgements, so what is the alternative?

To try and manipulate them to make the choices we feel they should be making, to stay miserable about the choices they’re making, or to move to a better feeling place about the choices they’re making? For me, there is no choice. Although this is a choice, for me it’s No real choice.
What I mean is apart from just letting people be, and choosing to feel good apart from the choices they’re making, the other two choices never get you anywhere you really want to be!
For example, some people may feel that manipulating or convincing others to take a different action would be a more desired outcome than letting them make their own choice, and if we’re coming from a positive place of putting a different more wanted scenario forward if someone has asked for our advice, of course, this is wonderful and may likely be considered when one was making a choice. Whereas if we’re negatively focused and judging someone as “wrong” and trying to convince them to our way of thinking, this is not that good, and they’d be well advised not to take advice coming from someone in such a resistant place.

If we do manage to persuade someone to make a different choice against their better judgement, there is usually a backlash to this of negative emotions, either expressed outward towards others or inwards at the self.
Now, just being miserable about the choices others are making is not a good option, especially when we have the ability to feel better unless of course, we are enjoying being miserable and attracting similar feeling circumstances into our experience?
The easiest way I know how to move to a better place, is to acknowledge we’re all different, with different desires, and we cannot always know how a choice will unfold, for what unfolds, whether it’s positive or negative, may be exactly what is needed to move us forward in a more positive direction.
Sometimes we need to make choices that send us in a direction we don’t want to be in just to know where we really do want to be! We can always move forward in a positive direction no matter what choices we make, and there’s nothing like experiencing strongly unwanted circumstances that may help us to refocus us more in the direction we’re wanting to go!

Even a so-called “bad choice” can be brought to a better place by working through any resistance that comes up by doing our best to stay positive, it’s not so much about the choices we make, but how we react as unwanted, resistant circumstances turn up that determines the results we achieve.
The last alternative is not to be around people who are choosing things that go against what we believe in, and for others we don’t know very well, this is easy, but with those we are close too, this is not always an option.

As far as I can see, the only option is to wish them the best with whatever they are choosing and to accept that they must do what they feel is best for them, just as we are choosing what we feel is best for us….
For what else have we come into this Physical world for, if not to choose that which we are wanting???

And so our journey together continues….
