Be careful if you stick your oars into someone else’s boat….You might not like what you find!!!

BoatIn truth we don’t really need to worry about sticking our oars in someone else’s boat because no matter where we’ve chosen to put our oars, we have the ability to remove them and put them somewhere else.

Although easy in theory……..Not always so easy in reality. Why is that???

Once we have put or given our focused attention (oars) to anything whether it be a particular person, personal situation or even circumstances that for the time being sit outside of our immediate experience, momentum of thought is created.
Once momentum of thought has been achieved through our focused thoughts, words and eventually actions, this can be like trying to stop a train that has gained quite a lot of speed. We may be able to slow it a little bit, but we’d probably get run over in the process. The faster the trains going (a subject that’s been given a lot of focused thought over time) the bigger the chance of being run down is if we try to stop it. Whereas the slower the trains going ( a subject that’s been given a small amount of thought over less time) the less likely we are to be run down.

Given this analogy, if we are feeling some negative emotion to certain thoughts we are having, it seems like it would be a good idea to stop our train (the momentum created through our focused thoughts) before something unwanted turns up in our experience. On the other hand if it’s good feeling positive emotions we’re feeling, no one in their right mind would want to stop the momentum of that!!! Positive emotions held onto over time with belief and knowing, especially in the face of opposition to what we are wanting (resistance) must eventually attract what we truly are wanting. That’s the Law of Attraction in action with no living entity on this planet sitting outside of this Law…..”EVER!!!” (As Count Dracula says in Hotel Transylvania……God I love that movie!!!)

So the question needs to be asked……why wouldn’t we stop a train that’s going in an unwanted direction before it gets too far off its path and becomes a bigger problem???
Mainly because firstly we may not be aware of how our train came to be off its path, and secondly because we don’t know how to get our train back on its path. It helps to know how we came to be off track before we can truly begin to be able to get back on track.

Generally, most human beings are captivated by what’s happening around them giving their undivided attention to whatever’s happening. That’s great if everything we’re observing is what we are wanting to experience, but let’s face it, I don’t think there’s probably anywhere on this planet one could go and find all circumstances around them to be to their liking, unless they have made it their primary job to disregard unwanted and focus as much as possible on what they see that they like.
So no matter where we find ourselves, there is the potential to focus on either wanted or unwanted circumstances, and it would be accurate to say what and how we focus the energy that pulses through us directly correlates to the circumstances we attract into our life experience.

Never before in our history has there been so much energy moving so quickly through all life forms on this planet. This means that results from our focused thoughts are attracting vibrational matches far more quickly than ever before. It does not take long when we hold either negative or positive emotions on any subject that is important to us to see the attraction process begin its momentum. This causes us to feel our emotions quickly and strongly, giving us the opportunity to acknowledge where we are and to make an effort to start and change our thought patterns if we feel we may be going off in the ditch somewhere.

The stronger emotions most are feeling in these times, although rather bothersome especially if they are strongly negative, helps to prevent us from becoming complacent or from just ‘putting up with it’ so to speak. If we are experiencing negative emotion but are not dealing with it in its earlier more subtle stages, it does not stay at that level of intensity for long. If not moved into a better feeling place by making an effort to change the thoughts that produced the negative emotion in the first place, it only gets bigger and feels stronger until it’s almost impossible to ignore or ‘put up with’. If we continue to ignore when we feel strong negative emotion, momentum grows until we experience fully manifested circumstances that will have the same emotional feelings to what created it in the first place. Very good if it’s positive good feeling thoughts and circumstances we’re focused upon…….Otherwise no so good.

Back to our oars, there really isn’t anything to fear about where or who we choose to give our attention to because we have the absolute free will and power to retreat and simply put our attention (oars) somewhere else, but it’s very helpful to know that the more we focus on where we’ve put our oars that we didn’t want too, the more entangled we become in something we aren’t wanting. If momentum is not slowed down and changed, this can send us into a place where the choices we currently find before us are choices we don’t want to have to make. Even if we find ourselves in these circumstances…….All is never ever lost.

We can start from wherever we are right now, no matter how bad we may currently feel. We can start to feel better and better therefore creating and attracting better and better circumstances into our lives!!!

This I know to the core of who I am……

And so I do…….

This is another way of saying….When we are knowing how this Universe and the Law of Attraction is working in our lives, we now understanding that everything that turns up in our physical reality, especially unwanted circumstances, are attracted to us through our own focus and helps us to move more fully into that which we’re wanting to experience in our lives. This statement especially relates to unwanted circumstances as being a blessing in disguise, because things we’re wanting that turn up aren’t disguised at all.

Although this is true, sometimes we don’t notice the small positive things that turn up because we’re strongly focused on the bigger circumstances were wanting to experience. Of course it’s good to be focused on what we’re wanting to experience in a good positive feeling way, but being purely focused on our end result in exclusion to anything else can somewhat blind us to the good that’s currently in our lives. Even the smallest wanted circumstance that manifests is worthy of taking note of, focusing on and appreciating because as the Law of Attraction responds to our good feelings and thoughts of appreciation, we create even more wanted circumstances in our future experience….And let’s not also forget, feeling good is feeling good!!!

Sometimes when we focus solely on the end result we’re wanting, even if we are positively focused, there’s often a vibration within us about the fact that what we’re wanting hasn’t materialised yet, especially if it’s something we’ve been working on for a long time. It can be a bit tricky to ignore the fact something we’ve desperately wanted hasn’t yet turned up, and depending on how strong this vibration within us is, it may prevent what we’re wanting from manifesting or our results may be a slightly mixed bag of wanted and unwanted circumstances.

So the moral of the story is….

~ Although it’s very important to improve our thought and cultivate our belief about the circumstances we’d like to unfold in our future experiences, it’s equally important to  focus on the smaller wanted details that are manifesting right now. This relaxes our focus into a better feeling place as it’s almost impossible to focus strongly on the good that’s around us now….And then be annoyed that this or that hasn’t turned up yet!!!

~ We all love it when things we want happen, but often it’s the unwanted circumstances that turn up in our experience that propel us forward in the direction we’re really wanting to go. Especially once we’ve released the resistant thoughts that attracted the unwanted circumstances in the first place.

~ Unwanted circumstances are never punishment but just a natural consequence of the creative power that’s within us all. This lets us know where our thoughts are in relation to what’s manifested, with positive good feeling thoughts attracting wanted circumstances and negative thoughts attracting unwanted circumstances.

~ When we start to understand how we create our experience and what unwanted circumstances really are, (A blessing in Disguise!!!) It makes it much easier to move through negative circumstances in a positive way, releasing resistance and moving  into a better feeling, higher vibrational place…..And that’s very good news!!!

And so it is….

It’s easy to feel good when good things happen….

Now isn’t that the truth!!!
But the trick is, or more to the point, the truth is….

It isn’t just how we react when good things turn up that matters and may determine our future experiences, although this is important. Just as importantly, it’s what we do when things aren’t all going our way that also effects what we may attract into our lives. Our future experiences are created by the length of time we focus, and how much emotional intensity we give any subject. Whether our focus is on something that’s happened in the past, is happening now, or is something we’re imagining that hasn’t yet happened doesn’t matter, it’s the strength of our focus that matters and creates.

When unwanted circumstances turn-up, sometimes we’re prone to give them a great amount of focus. This would be good if our focus was directed in a positive good feeling direction on all the good that may come from our experience and possible solutions or changes we may need to put in place to move forward in a more wanted direction. It’s not about pretending we like things we do not, that’s never a good thing as it doesn’t work through negative emotions within us that may be attracting unwanted situations into our experience.
Dealing with unwanted circumstances in positive ways means we’re much more likely to move through any emotional resistance we may have to whatever manifested so that similar circumstances don’t turn-up again in the future!!! Now that sounds very good….Don’t you think???

If we’re in a vibrational place that isn’t too far away from this perspective and if we’re feeling generally happy in our lives about many things, it’s not too hard to redirect ourselves into a better feeling place when unwanted circumstances happen. This is because power and momentum is achieved behind how we feel as the Law of Attraction responds to the vibrations we are constantly emitting, and when we focus strongly and positively on anything, whether it’s wanted or unwanted, we release resistance and create even more wanted future experiences. It becomes our normal good feeling vibrational place to go to and be in without having to make too much effort to get there…..And that’s so awesome!!!

Once we’ve come to understand how we’re creating our life experiences through our own observation of how we feel and what manifests, it may take some time and effort to move our thoughts and feelings into a better vibrational place if we’ve focused for some time with negative emotional intensity on unwanted circumstances.
The good news is…..Once we have an awareness that we’re creating our life it’s not possible to undo this knowing and it’s only a matter of time before we start to exercise the true power that’s within us all.

The power to feel good apart from whatever’s happening.
The power to focus strongly on the good that’s around us.
The power to acknowledge what’s unwanted and move forward positively.
The power to create what we’re wanting in our own lives.

That is a TRUTH that’s worth believing in!!!

And so it is….

So what about previous lives???

Although most have lived many physical lives….When we re-enter the physical realm as a new physical entity, a baby, we often don’t remember the previous life experiences we’ve had. If we do have memories, it’s very often when we are young and aren’t aware that this isn’t an accepted principle or understanding that the majority of people or societies we’ve being brought-up in have an awareness of.
Children that are very young have been known to give unusual accounts or details claiming they’ve had experiences or been another person in a different time period and often rely very specific knowledge that doesn’t seem possible for them to have gained at their current young age. This happens more frequently than we may think but is often disregarded as imaginative thinking, or worse….Lying.

If we’re coming forward multiple times into different physical lives,(and we are)at different points in time, physical bodies, locations and circumstances without easily accessible memories of any of our previous lives, a reasonable conclusion is that we don’t remember what’s previously happened because we’re wanting differing experiences from different physical perspectives. This wouldn’t be possible if we were to remember the lives and experiences we’ve previously lived. This is no accident, but the way we’ve purposely designed it!!!

It would be very difficult to look through new fresh eyes and make different or improved choices if we had clear memories of past experiences from the previous lives we’ve lived. This would mean our current experiences would go through the filter of our previous memories and perspectives. So what would be the purpose of making our transition back to Non-Physical and coming forward into a new body if our perspectives stayed the same???

That being said, we do carry all the experiences we’ve had through all the previous lifetimes we’ve lived within our physical here and now body, and we do have the ability to tap into those experiences and knowledge if we have the desire.
For me, although I know I’ve lived many lives before and feel strongly when I meet someone I’ve known in a previous life, I don’t feel the need to find out any specific details or go through the process of trying to bring back those memories. I’m aware that all my previous experiences have led me to where I am now, and any resistance or unfinished issues I may have had in those lives will come forward into the current life I’m living giving me the opportunity to move into a better, non-resistant, vibrational place regarding it, if that’s what I’m wanting.

Each life we live gives us a new and different perspective to grow into and experience, and although they are separate journeys, each is closely related to the other. Just as the life we’re currently living is a specific and quantifiable journey, so is the compilation of all the lives we’ve lived a journey with a much broader view and deeper understanding than the individual life we’re living. Our Non-Physical counterpart is communicating that broader understanding to the Physical here and now part of us through our emotions, and depending on how good were feeling, with thoughts too.
So when we’re Non-Physical before we decide to take another Physical body, we set general goals or circumstances we may want to achieve in the next life, but by no means are these goals specific or set in stone. More of a general guide that’s open to moving in multiple different ways depending on the direction of our focus, the experiences we have, and the choices we make.

The idea that there has been something set in stone by someone outside of ourselves, someone who controls us and then judges us when we don’t behave in an appropriate way or don’t achieve what they’ve set out for us to do, is……Well, that’s more of a human construct. A belief humans hold, not a belief held to by Universal Law or the energy that created and sustains this amazing Universe.

So the moral of this rather long story is…..

~There is nothing that has been set down that we have to do in any specific time frame or way.
~We are always on the right path no matter what is happening or manifesting, for all experiences have the ability to move us into more of what we’re wanting.
~No opportunities can be lost because they are continually flowing in our direction, just as one passes, a new one is on it’s way to us.
~There are no wrong choices just challenges to rise too, and better feeling places to reach.

~And, we are all so much greater than most of us have ever imagined…..

And so you are…..

PMS….Is it all in our minds???

Well, the answer is yes and no….depending on what your beliefs and experiences are in relation to this subject.
In the past, I was never very impressed when people complained about being “so emotional” because it was “that time of the month.”
I felt strongly that many people used this as an excuse to behave badly, and then relinquished any responsibility they had for their bad behaviour by blaming their “hormones.”
Now before anyone gets their knickers all bunched up, I completely acknowledge that this can be a real occurrence for many women with varying degrees of intensity. It’s not my intention to argue with anyone about whether or not they really experience PMS, if you think you experience it, you probably do experience it, end of story.
As usual, I like to this think about experiences through the viewpoint of Universal Law and the Law of Attraction in order to move forward in a positive direction rather than resigning myself to a position of helplessness or “I can’t do anything about this” mindset.
No, for me it’s unacceptable to resign myself to a period of time every month when I am in a not good feeling place and everyone else better just “look out or else.”

Now many would argue…..I’ve had tests done, I’ve had this and that done and the doctor says I have a hormone imbalance, and I’m not pretending I’m emotional, etc,etc.
And I say, yes of course you are, and yes, most people know and accept this as a normal way of being at that time of the month.
But consider for a moment, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?”
Did the emotion cause the hormone imbalance, or did the hormone imbalance cause the emotion? Many have assumed the latter, and have therefore thrown their arms up in the air and said “I can’t do anything about it, it’s out of my control,” and which ever way it happened, nothing is out of our control, especially when it comes to our own experiences.
If I was experiencing PMS and it was affecting my life (or others around me) in a negative way, I would ask myself the following question….
How strongly do I believe I’m going to experience an emotionally disturbing time when my period is due???
And, do I enjoy (just a little bit) having an excuse to really “let it all out” without consequences. Actually, that’s not possible, there are always consequences for everything we do, remember, the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to what ever you put “out there,” whether it is something you are wanting or not.

Although it’s true that we all have control of ourselves and how we feel, if we have been experiencing PMS for some time with intensity, there will be a considerable amount of power and momentum behind the thoughts and beliefs that initially helped to create this situation, and of course, we have our own personal experiences of PMS which really cements our belief even more, for now we have evidence of that which we may have unknowingly attracted to focus even more on! (I say unknowingly, because I find it hard to believe anyone would knowingly create anything they weren’t wanting!)
So we can’t really go from “0 to hero” (from strongly unwanted to wanted) when experiencing any unwanted circumstances’ when there’s power and momentum behind those experiences, and the fact that we are experiencing anything, lets us know there is power and momentum behind it, otherwise we wouldn’t be experiencing it.
The best thing we can do if we’re wanting to improve our experience in relation to PMS or any circumstances in our life, is to start cultivating our belief more in the direction of what we are wanting, rather than focusing on what has already been.
It does take some time and effort, and a focusing of the mind to a level we may not have exercised for a while, but it is so doable.

The power to shape your experience is within you….not your doctor, not your family, not your community…..It’s within you, and although others can be a source of guidance or inspiration that can help us to get where we want to be, it’s you that will ultimately be the creator of your experience.
Take the power you were born with and exercise it, for this is your natural birth right, and you can start right now, from wherever you are, it matters not what has already been…

And so it it….

Are we there yet???

Well, there’s an easy answer to that question, and it’s no!
Why? Because as soon as we achieve anything we are wanting to have, be or do, we experience a whole new set of new circumstances where we will decide what we think would slightly improve our experience, from this new vantage point now.
Some may say “no, when I achieve whatever it is I’m wanting, I won’t want anything more I’ll be happy and content.”
And I say “as if!” If that was even possible, life would end….and that truly is impossible.(we will leave this physical body, that’s for sure, but who we really are will never end, but will simply change form)
I am not suggesting we cannot be happy and content once we’ve achieved something we have been wanting, definitely we can, but after spending some time in this happy and content place, we will always see how things could be slightly better or what may improve our life experience. So even if we are currently content, new desires are constantly being born within us, for life will always produce more desire from us, as this is the first step in the process of creating what we are wanting in our life, and is one of the reasons we have come into this physical reality.
So why have I come here??
To decide through the living of my life, what I am wanting to experience which requires exposure and observation of many different circumstances that this life experience provides.
Once I have decided what I’m wanting, doing my best to turn all my attention towards that which I am wanting by;
Generally doing my best to feel better to whatever I am giving my attention to, not just the subjects I want to bring into a better vibrational place.
Looking for general evidence from my environment of what I’m wanting.
Imagining what it will feel like to live my wanted circumstances.
Observing others positively that may be living the circumstances I am wanting for myself.
Looking for signs more specifically related to what I am wanting that lets me know the Law of Attraction is responding to my positive vibration regarding what I desire, bringing me manifestation evidence of it!!
And Oh…..if positive thought is maintained over time with focused attention,(creating power and momentum) it really is thrilling to see things turning up left, right and centre in response to our improved vibration!!
This helps to strengthen our belief in ourselves, our knowing about how life works and our ability to focus, create and attract what we’re wanting in our lives, and helps us to maintain our vibrational good feeling place in the face of opposition.
By opposition I mean, before whatever we’re wanting turns up, we may get to a good vibrational place regarding what we’re wanting, but when manifestation evidence does not immediately follow, we may lose belief, faith and our good feeling place on the subject.
Often, this is because some resistance may need to be worked through, but if we can stay focused during our times of doubt, and work through any resistant circumstances that have turned up, we can return to our good feeling place on the subject, usually feeling even stronger positive emotion than we did before our doubt or resistance turned up!!
That’s what happens when we make the effort to work through negative thoughts and circumstances; we get to a better feeling vibrational place and become a stronger person, or more to the point, we become more of who we really are, better able to deal with whatever comes our way with confidence and grace.
This gives us a sense of empowerment we may not have felt before, the power to create that which we are wanting in our lives.
And I don’t know if there’s a person alive that wouldn’t want that, if they believed they could have it!!

And so it is….

And so the pendulum swings…

I use this saying to describe what can often happen when we have experienced strongly unwanted circumstances in our life, especially as we were growing up.
It goes something like this….

I have a very unwanted experience.
I decide this is not what I’m going to do in my life as I grow up.
I do the exact opposite in my own life to ensure I never become or do whatever it was that was done to me.

Usually the more unwanted and extreme the experience, the stronger and extreme the behaviour will be towards the opposite end of the behaviour scale so we may go from one extreme to the other extreme.
A good example of this is people who may have been harshly physically disciplined as children;
Some may never question this and continue with this behaviour in their own lives, but many will feel strongly this is not something they will choose to do and will often go to the extreme of complete freedom.
I can tell you, as a child that was harshly physically disciplined, I would definitely rather under discipline than over discipline, but it would be true to say that both extremes can produce very poor results.

Mostly it’s about balance, everything balances itself out sooner or later but it can take time, and by time, I mean it can take generations.
I do my best not to worry about people even if they are at the extreme ends of experience, and I definitely do not put my attention on whatever they are doing if it does not agree with what I am wanting in my own life experience or how I have chosen to live.
Putting our attention and focused thoughts on anything around us that we are wanting to experience and that feels good, is the best action we can take, for this starts redirecting us towards more of the experiences we are wanting to live, and of those circumstances, we are not wanting to live.
It’s totally okay not to like things, but you want the strongest vibration within you that the Law of Attraction is responding to, to be what you are wanting, not what you are not wanting.
People think they are focused on what they’re wanting, but often our focus is actually on the lack of what we’re wanting.
The only way to know the true direction of our thought is by how we are feeling. Positive emotion indicates you are moving towards something you are wanting, whereas negative emotion indicates you are moving towards something you are not wanting.

It’s not for me to judge what others should or shouldn’t be doing, I hold onto my belief that most people are doing the best they can, based on what they know, and when we know better we can do better.
In these days we are living now, things are showing up thick and fast in answer to our focused thoughts (vibration) that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to, letting us know exactly where we are.
And once we know where we truly are, and start improving how we are feeling….The skies the limit!!

And so it is….

Letting go is not the same as giving up…. Or is it???

No, letting go is very different to giving up and you know they are different by how they feel.
If we are letting go of something it usually implies moving from a resistant feeling place with negative emotion to a good feeling place with positive emotion.
Whereas giving up on something usually implies moving from a resistant negative feeling place into more of a not good feeling place with stronger negative emotion.
We can call it whatever we want, but it’s all about how it feels when we think about it.
Think about this for a moment, even the words “letting go” feel like a release of something, maybe something we have strived for in a resistant way for some time gaining power and momentum in a not good feeling way. If we maintain that strong negative emotion it often gets to a point where we can stand it no more, something has to give. (or something quite unwanted often turns up)
So truly letting go is the release of some resistant negative emotions or energy and should immediately bring us into a more positive better-feeling place.
But letting go is not a one off occurrence in the sense that once you have released resistance, that’s it, you don’t need to do anything else.
Letting go is like everything else in our life, the positive thoughts we have just allowed ourselves to experience must be maintained by giving them plenty of air time or attention within our thought process.
This is very important, especially when changing negative beliefs or thoughts that have been held over long periods of time for they have become ingrained through receiving plenty of attention and focused thought, so even though we may temporarily let go of something and move to a better place, these thoughts also need to gain power and momentum through increased attention.
If we do not make an effort to give our new positive thoughts attention, we often slip back into the old ways of thinking.
It’s the same as a car that drives over a track many times, it’s often the first route we’re drawn to because we know it so well and it’s much easier than finding another way that requires more time and effort for us to take and may have unknown obstacles.
And so it’s the same with our thoughts, when thinking about any subject we have pondered for some time, the thoughts we have the easiest access to are those that have had the most focused attention on them from us, for they have been responded to by the Law of Attraction in-kind and have far more power and momentum behind them. This is good news if our thoughts are positively focused and maintained until we feel strong positive emotion, as this is creating wanted experiences, but if our thoughts are negative, this is an indication that we are creating less than wanted circumstances so it’s a good idea to make an effort to gradually move ourselves to a better feeling place.
It’s also good that as the old thoughts are thought less and less, just like our track, weeds will grow over them, and although it doesn’t go away, like anything, through lack of use, it becomes non-attracting once the new thoughts or beliefs have become our new dominant vibrational place on this subject. Once this has happened, our new improved thoughts become the new “general or normal” vibrational place, meaning, because we made the effort over time to bring ourselves into a better vibrational place that the Law of Attraction responded to in-kind as it does to all thoughts we have, now when we bring this subject into our mind, we will automatically have access to our improved thoughts. This is now our normal place!
So it would be true to say no matter what we’ve thought in the past, whether it be positive or negative, we don’t need to keep giving our focused thoughts and attention to them, but it does take some time and effort to change them, because remember, the old thoughts may have a bit of momentum behind them, but as we become more aware and sensitive to how we’re feeling and we start seeing the correlation between what we are thinking and feeling (vibrating) and what’s turning up in our lives, we do start making an effort to change and improve our thoughts.
Why is it important to know where we are?
To go anywhere you need to have a starting point, and that starting point needs to be true and accurate, that’s all. Finding out where we really are vibrationally is not about judging one’s self negatively or making ourselves feel bad, it’s purely about finding out where our true starting place is so we can move in the best way possible to where we want to be.
At the deepest level of who we really are, we know it’s possible to move into whatever it is we’re wanting, but we do have to start listening to what our emotions are telling us and to do our best to move into better feeling places.
When we start to believe we can make it where we’re wanting to go, our experience starts reflecting back to us the manifestational evidence of our improved thoughts and feelings (vibration)… And how good is that!!

And so our journey together continues….

Through adversity, we find strength….Don’t we???

That depends on how you react when adversity happens.
And a lot of how we react depends on how much momentum we’ve got going behind the thoughts that have created such circumstances, and if we’ve been aware we’re creating our life experience through what we think and how we feel. (Our vibration)
Firstly, the idea that some supreme being is “out there somewhere” throwing curve balls at us for no other reason than, “I think this wonderful person I created seems to be having too good of a time, let’s challenge them, let’s see how much they can learn from this not nice experience!” I must say is a pretty strange idea.
If you do believe in a loving supreme being, doesn’t it sort of go against the grain to then believe they are sending you unwanted, challenging experiences for the fun of seeing how you cope??
Which is it, a loving supreme being or an angry punishing not nice supreme being? For it is one or the other for both cannot be in the one.

If unwanted circumstances are not sent by a vengeful, punishing supreme being,(and they aren’t) how do they come?
They come through focused thought that has been maintained over time that we sometimes are not aware of, for we have often become use to feeling negative emotion for so long, we’ve numbed ourselves to it because we haven’t known we have the ability to bring ourselves into a better feeling place on every and any subject that is important to us.

Instead we may have felt helpless to do anything about what we have been observing, so may be “fighting a cause,” to try to get others to change their behaviour in order for us to feel better. Anger is definitely a better place to be in, in relation to the emotional scale compared to helplessness, but long-term, anger still creates many unwanted circumstances in our life and also needs to be moved to a more positive, better feeling place.

We may have also resigned ourselves to the idea, “When I’m feeling bad about a circumstance I feel I can’t change, there’s nothing I can do about it, so I must just accept the fact I will always feel bad about this subject.” (Ohh, that’s hard for me to even say!!)
It’s okay if we’re there though, because we can move to a better feeling place if that’s what we are wanting to do, and the more we do it, the easier it gets, that’s for sure!
The only reason someone would try or make the effort to move to a better feeling place, is if, through the living of ones own life experiences, we’re coming to understand how what we’re thinking and feeling is being magnified and reflected back to us in the form of manifestations by the powerful Law of Attraction.

If we are not seeing the link between what we’re thinking and feeling and what’s manifesting in our own life experience, it’s unlikely we will do what is required to move our thoughts and emotions to a better feeling place, for it is not that easy if we have lived for some time on this earth without knowing or exercising our ability to do so.

So, adversity comes from our own focused thoughts that the Law of Attraction is responding to in-kind, with similar feeling manifestations turning up in our life experience. They are an indication of what we’re doing with our thoughts and emotions, what we’re creating. There’s no judgement by the Universe or the Law of Attraction or whatever else you believe in, it’s purely an indication of what you are creating, I like to think of it as the Universe asking me a question, “Is this what you are wanting to experience? If the answer is yes, keep going with this line of thought, if the answer is no, maybe it’s a good idea to move your thought to something that feels better?”

So I would definitely agree that through overcoming adversity, we can find immense strength, but why is this?
If we have managed to bring ourselves from a not good feeling vibrational place,(problem orientated) to a good feeling vibrational place, (solution orientated) and have maintained that focus until improved physical manifestations turn up, how do we feel?

We start to feel the POWER that we truly have, the power of who we really are, the power to take control of our own life experiences, not by trying to control others or gain power over others but by making an effort to improve the way we feel, for this is what is attracting everything into our life experience, whether we are knowing it or not…

And so our journey together continues….

It’s good to be a sympathetic friend…. Or is it???

3. The act of sharing one’s feelings and emotions with another, especially sorrow, anguish, and pity.
4. A feeling or expression of pity or sorrow for the distress of another.
5. Compassion or commiseration.
6. A feeling of loyalty, support, or allegiance.

Many would agree with the general description of sympathy that’s listed above and that this is a good way to react when a friend comes to you with a problem they wish to discuss.
I am not saying anyone is doing anything wrong by being a sympathetic friend or shoulder to cry on, but it’s interesting to understand what is happening when these interactions are taking place from the viewpoint of Universal Law and the Law of Attraction.

The process of bringing one’s vibration (thoughts and emotions) into alignment (the same vibrational place) with another, therefore both focusing on and creating unwanted circumstances, unless the vibration is moved into a positive or solution orientated direction therefore both focusing on and creating more wanted circumstances!

Some people will speak of unwanted circumstances that have happened or are happening in their life, especially to gain sympathy from others. Why is this?
Firstly to be speaking about anything we must have given the subject plenty of thought otherwise we would not be speaking about it, especially if we are the instigator of the conversation.

If we want people to sympathise with us, this usually indicates we’re still standing in a place where we are judging others, the situation, or ourselves as “ wrong or bad” and are looking for agreement with how we are feeling, as it initially feels good and this is why people are doing it.

But what’s really happening during these interactions?
For the person speaking of the problem they are creating more power and momentum behind it, for you cannot speak of such things without adding even more focused thought to the problem, which the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind too, with more evidence in the form of thoughts, people, places, and situations turning up in your experience showing you what you are creating through the power of your own focused thoughts.

Don’t let me give you the impression you should never speak of your problems, for if you have been giving something a lot of thought it’s almost impossible to stop yourself from talking about such things. (Remember, Law of Attraction!)
Acknowledging the problem is an important initial first step, but it’s important to move as quickly as possible into the vibrational vicinity of the solution, and this is achieved by gradually making an effort to improve our thought in relation to whatever the problem is.

It’s better to acknowledge “Oops, I’m talking about something I don’t want to experience again” and take it for what it is, an indication of what you’ve got going on vibrationally rather than being mad or cross at ourselves, and although we may be creating more momentum in a direction we don’t want to go, we do have the ability at any time to start moving our thoughts in a slightly more positive direction as we become more aware of what we’re doing.

The drawback of getting others’ perspectives, opinions, judgments, or sympathy, is now we have included another’s often-negative vibration in our creative process that just increases our own negative vibration on the subject.
Depending on where our normal or general vibration place is will depend on whether we’ll seek people who will sympathise with whatever we’ve got going on. It takes some pretty good self-control even when we know what we’re doing not to speak of things that are happening in our life that we do not want to replicate and continue to experience, but we all have to start somewhere if that’s what we’re wanting.

I would say the only time it is of benefit to speak to someone about a problem we may have, is if the person we’re speaking with is solution orientated in a positive direction, knowing that the best they can hope to do, is to listen and acknowledge how the other is feeling, and hold steady to a positive good feeling vibrational place regarding whatever they are speaking to us about.
To maintain a good feeling place when people bring problems to us may be virtually impossible if we don’t believe that things can work out for them, and any words spoken from this unbelieving place to try to help will be empty and hollow with no substance behind them.

When you know there is a solution to the problem and that all have the ability to make their way, in time to the solution, even if they are not currently there now, the words we speak are more likely to be uplifting or inspiring. What people are really feeling is your knowing. Your knowing that things can work out for them, your belief that they have the ability to find the answers they want, in their own way and in their own time.
And how do we feel when we’re speaking with someone who we feel knows things are going to be all right and work out for us, and believes we will find our own way? It’s hard not to start believing in ourselves just that little bit more from being around such people, isn’t it? (Unless we’re just mad because we didn’t get agreement or sympathy? This means we’re not quite ready for the solution we are wanting yet.)
This is the true process of uplifting and positively influencing another.

So I would have to say, I am a very unsympathetic friend…. Do I love, do I care, do I listen, do I briefly acknowledge the problem, do I selfishly stay in my good feeling place regarding the problem, do I know and believe in people’s ability, and do I try to uplift?
Yes, I do my best to do all of these things, for when we know what we’re doing, why would we want to do anything else???
