You’re giving me such Sweet Nothing…..

FlyingFeathersThese are the lyrics of a song by Calvin Harris featuring Florence Welch called Sweet Nothing.

When I first heard this song I loved it, and when I figured out what I thought the words were, I loved it even more. What I thought I was listening to was…..”You’re giving me such Sweet Energy,” and every time I heard it I was like “Wahoo,” and I sung my little heart out like there was no tomorrow!!
After a while I thought I’d better download it, and can you imagine my utter shock at learning the words were actually, “You’re giving me such Sweet Nothing,” the exact opposite meaning to what I thought it was saying.
It’s an interesting listen when this song comes on during our drive to school with the correct version singing Sweet Nothing, me singing Sweet Energy, and my young daughter singing something that sounds like Sexy Elephants…..It’s a real hoot!! (I don’t have the heart to tell her she’s got it wrong, cause Ignorance really is bliss sometimes!!)

I’m sure some are probably thinking I’m crazy right now and what does it matter??? And in the big scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter, especially if you’re not into music, but I love music and it’s important to me what the lyrics are saying because I think quite deeply about what they’re trying to convey. It’s also good to know that when we tune into anything strongly, the thoughts and feelings that went into it during its creation are passed onto the listener, even if it is only temporarily.

I’m not saying everything we listen to has to be about rose petals and sunshine because we often need to acknowledge a problem or unwanted circumstances before we can move into the solution, giving us the opportunity of bringing more of what we’re wanting forward, and into our experience. All I’m saying is it’s good to be aware of what we’re listening too, and that what we’re listening too is often a reflection of where we are, and how we’re currently feeling.

Back to giving me such Sweet Nothing…..This isn’t really possible and if you listen to the lyrics in this song, you’ll hear that the recipient is getting plenty, just nothing that they’re wanting. And that’s exactly how it is when we communicate with anyone, we’re always sending out vibrational signals back and forth that lets us know how our interactions are progressing.
Even if there isn’t much verbal communication, everything we’re thinking and feeling is being communicated vibrationally, it’s not a question of whether this happens or not, but more a question of how sensitive we are to how we’re feeling and the vibrations that others are sending out.

So I suppose the question could be……Do we want to be sensitive to how we’re feeling and the vibrations others are sending out???
Absolutely yes, this is a very good idea. Remember, our emotions are communication from our Non-Physical counterpart (do you like that, our Non-Physical counterpart…..Hehehe!!) letting us know if we’re creating and moving in the direction of what we’re wanting to experience (positive emotions) or if we’re focused in a way that’s attracting what we aren’t wanting to experience. (negative emotions)
The more sensitive we are to how we’re feeling, the sooner we can make an effort to move ourselves into a better feeling vibrational place therefore reducing momentum in a direction we’re not wanting to go and increasing momentum in the direction we are wanting to go in!!! (Again I say, “Wahoo!!”)

Being sensitive to the vibrations of others can help us to know where they currently are, and whether it’s a good idea to interact with them right now, because what is good for one is good for the other, whereas what’s not so good for one is not so good for the other either.
In other words, protecting ones self from not nice interactions with others not only prevents us from creating more unwanted circumstances in our life, but also prevents the other from creating more unwanted things in their life, but probably won’t prevent them from having a not nice interaction with the next person they encounter if they’re really in the place for it….If you know what I mean!! (Momentum and the Law of Attraction!!)

But that’s their choice though, not ours!!

And so it is….

All good things come to those who wait….Really!!!

Well,….Maybe, maybe not???
Whether good things come to those who wait depends entirely on how we feel about waiting, how long we’ve been waiting and how much we are wanting whatever we’re waiting for.

If we’re thinking about waiting for something to turn up and we feel positive expectation and emotion about it, this is a very good indication that we’ve put ourselves in a good feeling vibrational place, and if our good feeling is maintained with emotional intensity, what we are wanting must eventually manifest.

Although this is true, when we’re waiting for something to turn up, it’s very likely some of our vibrational focus will be on the fact that what we are wanting hasn’t turned up yet, and depending on how strong that part of our vibration regarding the lack of what we’re wanting being here is….It can prevent things from flowing and manifesting as easily as they could.

When this happens, ones focus can waiver, especially if we know we’ve been feeling very good for a long period of time and have done well working through many lower vibrational states and unwanted circumstances to reach our improved feeling place.
This can make us question all sorts of things and can sometimes send us a little off track. It’s often not that we weren’t feeling as good as we thought we were, because it’s not possible to really fake any good feeling we have, even if we’re smiling outwardly, we all know when we’re not genuinely feeling it, and so does anyone else who’s sensitive to how they’re feeling and what others are putting “out there”!!! We’re either feeling good or we aren’t, it’s that simple, but sometimes where not completely aware of a vibration we might have going on and the impact it’s having as the Law of Attraction responds to it.

The moral of the story is…..Time limits and waiting for things to turn up can really set us up to not achieve what we were wanting. Strict time limits can propel us forward sometimes, but if we don’t achieve what we were wanting in our set time limit, it hardly ever feels good, and we often give-up.
Waiting, especially if we feel we’ve been waiting a long time, often promotes more waiting as the Law of Attraction responds to our feelings of waiting by giving us more things we feel we’re waiting for. (Holy Moses….That’s a lot of waiting in there!!! Hehehe)

I know it can be difficult to take time limits and waiting out of the equation when we really want something, but believing that things are working out for us even when we can’t immediately see how, and knowing we have the power to change our focus and feel better which in turn changes what we’re attracting, is a powerful belief to have, especially when we experience challenges.

I prefer the saying “All in good time,” which for me translates too,

I know things are working out for me,
I believe in the power I have to create what I am wanting in my life,
I know I will attract just the right circumstances that will help to move me closer to that which I am wanting to experience in my life…..

And I invite it!!!

Who’s truths are you living???

I love the times we are living in now. I like that I have running water, my rubbish is conveniently picked up and disposed of for me, I don’t need to dig a hole to go to the toilet, (thank god for that….Hehehe!!) I can get everything I need to cook at a handy store, not to mention almost anything else I require, and do I need to even bother talking about all the technological advances that make so much of what we do these days easier?
Now of course there is always two sides to every story, and many people will say “Yes, but……..” bringing up all the negative aspects, stories, evidence and experiences from their point of view of why this or that is not as good as you may think it is, and although their negative perspective may be “their truth,” do you think that’s a good enough reason for you to focus on it in a not good feeling, negative way?
They are unwanted aspects that someone else, or a collection of individuals have focused on that the Law of Attraction has responded too, that has attracted evidence they are now observing, and often manifestations they may also be experiencing in their life.
So they are not making it up, or not telling the truth, but they are telling you a truth that they have created, or a truth that has been originally created by others that they then observed and focused on with strong emotion, achieving power and momentum behind those thoughts and unknowingly bringing it into their world.

Once we are understanding how we are creating our own life experiences, not because someone told us, but because we have experienced it in our own life, it often takes some time to work through the reasons why we may still be focusing on unwanted circumstances others are bringing to us, and although it will be different for everyone, here is a list that may give us some food for thought, so to speak.

~ If it’s a subject we feel very strongly negative about, this is a good indication we still have resistance in relation to whatever the subject matter is which we may want to make an effort to move to a better feeling vibrational place about.
~ We may have become accustom to behaving or reacting in a certain way when interacting with others that’s not in our best interests, or the other persons interest for that matter either. For example being very sympathetic by listening and agreeing with negative contemplation.
~ Is it important for us to gain approval from and be liked by everyone we interact with?

There is so much truth “out there,” the questions I ask myself when deciding whether I should give my attention to something or not is;

~ Is this subject or circumstance something I want to bring into my world and experience?
~ Can I focus on this negative subject and bring it into a more positive place?
~ Is how I am thinking and feeling right now moving me closer or further away from that which I am wanting?
~ Do I feel this interaction is going to be a positive experience for all parties?

I know, sometimes things don’t always unfold how we want them too, even when we’ve had the best of intentions, but I do feel that if we can take a few moments to ask ourselves these sorts of questions when deciding what to give our powerful and focused attention too, “It is so good,” for yourself, and every single person that has the good fortune to come into contact with you!!

And so it is….

Sometimes, “things just happen”…. Or do they?

That’s absolutely not true, things do not “just happen.” This is just another way of saying,”I have no idea how this thing that just happened, happened.”
But one thing is for certain, nothing can come into this physical reality we are living in now from nowhere or nothing, there are always thoughts words and actions that precede all that happens, whether we are aware of it or not.
So it’s true, we can feel like things “just happen” to us, but that feeling comes from a place of not having awareness that our thoughts were focused in a certain direction that created circumstances that we may or may not have been wanting to experience. I suppose its similar to the saying ignorance is bliss, or in other words, we don’t know what we don’t know, and sometimes we’re better off not knowing?
Well, I would have to disagree with the statement “we’re better off not knowing,” because knowledge is power, even though it can sometimes initially be hard to swallow.
For how can it be better to not know something that will help us to make better, more informed choices that produce much better results, and move us in more of the direction we are wanting to go?
Many do not really want to know what the solution may be to something they are living because it often involves changes that we may not yet feel ready or prepared to undertake.
And I would definitely not encourage someone to take action on anything they do not feel ready or prepared for as the outcome achieved from this unsure, unknowing place often produces less than satisfactory results because the vibrations (thoughts and feelings) within us are often split.
Think of it in terms of walking on very hot sand with one bare foot and one foot with a shoe on….Hehehe, that’s just put a really funny picture in my head! As you can imagine, one shoe is better than having no shoes at all, but it would be definitely better to have two shoes on, don’t you think?
Lets go on with this analogy, because it’s fun!
So, we might burn our foot, or maybe we won’t, depending on how far we have to go and how good we are at hopping!! (Yep, I’ve done that more than once!!) And so it’s similar when we don’t take the time to get our thought in a good feeling vibrational place before we take action, or in the case of our analogy, take the time to ensure we had everything we needed with us before venturing out onto the hot sand!!

So nothing just manifests in our life experience from nowhere, but that doesn’t mean everything has a deep vibrational basis that we need to get to the bottom of, and sometimes trying to “get to the bottom of it” just increases our attention upon something unwanted in our experience and ensures it stays around longer!! It’s often enough to acknowledge to ourselves that this or that has just turned up, so even if we weren’t aware of …. before it showed itself to us, now we are aware, and have the ability to move ourselves to a better feeling vibrational place regarding whatever it is we wish to have an improved experience of.

I don’t know about you, but nothings more important to me than that I do my best to feel as good as I can at any given moment in time, for not only is it awesome to feel good, but I know that my awesome good feelings are being responded in-kind to by the powerful Law of Attraction, bringing into my experience evidence of the vibrations that are dominant and pulsing strongly within me.
Now that’s something that really is happening to us all, and I say, “It is so good!!”

And so it is….

Ignorance is bliss….Or is it???

Well I would have to agree with this statement, as long as we’re ignorant, it often is bliss because you don’t know what you don’t know, and what you don’t know can’t hurt you…( so I’ve heard? )
Well, that’s not entirely true, it can hurt us, it’s just we don’t know it’s hurting us.
The only drawback about ignorance being bliss is that there is no awareness of what we are creating in our life and how we are creating it.
Therefore the ability to deliberately move into a better vibrational
( thoughts and emotions ) places is not consciously considered because we have not been aware we have the ability to move our thoughts on any and all subjects that are important to us.
This usually means we’re living our life by default, by this I mean we may be believing things in our life are just happening “to us” and that we are powerless to do anything about it.
And although this is very far from the truth, it can often feel this way to the unaware, again this comes from not knowing how life is working and how we are creating our own life experiences.
This prevents us from taking any responsibility for what’s happening in our lives and it will be unlikely we will make an effort to move to a place that feels better than where we are by choosing thoughts that feel slightly better than what we are currently thinking.
Why would anyone make an effort to do such a thing? ( because it does take some effort ) If we don’t know what we are experiencing in our life is a result of our focused thoughts and feelings ( vibrations ) and that the Law of Attraction is responding to and reflecting back to us the original vibration frequency we’ve emitted with matching physical manifestations, we just wouldn’t make an effort.
Instead, we often do what we have been taught as we were growing up and what the majority of other human beings on this planet are doing, and that is…
Observing whatever is in front of us and having an uncontrolled, knee-jerk emotional response to it.
If it’s something we consider to be “unwanted, wrong, bad, or inappropriate behaviour,” whether it’s judgment of ourselves or others, we will usually feel strong negative emotion.
Feeling negative emotion is not bad, but it is an important sign, and very valuable communication from our Inner Being, the Non-Physical part of us, letting us know we are now focusing on something that we do not wish to experience and we would be well advised to change our focus to something we are wanting to experience, or anything that feels slightly better than where we currently are.
That being said, once we begin down the path of awareness and start to understanding how we are creating our life, not because someone else told us how life works, but because we have seen and experienced it in our own life experiences, there is no turning back so to speak.
We cannot un-know what we have come to know through the living of our own life, and although everything does constantly change and evolve as we move through time, you can never go back to a time when you did not know what you now know, even if you wanted to.
And yes, we will all have moments when we may wish we could have stayed in our world of ignorance and blame, but we usually get over that given some time and reflection. ( and let us not forget awesomely improved physical manifestations!! )
I suppose that would be denial, but even if we do deny that which we know, it will only be a matter of time before it becomes no longer possible to deny the truth of how life is working, for as the Law of Attraction delivers us evidence of the truths we have become aware of and that are pulsing strongly within us, we will see it everywhere we turn, and it becomes a futile endeavour to continue to deny it.
At this point comes acceptance of the truth, and this is a very good place to be.
Nothing is more important than knowing the truth about how life is working and knowing the truth of who we really are, for once we know this, we can start “deliberately creating” the more joyful experience we all came here to live!!
Life is supposed to be good….

And so it is….

Stop and smell the flowers….

I think I’ve said, I love common sayings because there’s often hidden ( or not so hidden ) truths deep within them, that the true understanding of would bring clarity and answers to many things we may have previously thought we might never have known the answers too.
Well, you may not want to stop and “smell the flowers,” hell, you may not even like flowers!
But Seriously, it’s not really about flowers at all, ( not that there’s anything wrong with flowers ) it’s about taking time to notice all the often small, wonderful, beautiful things that are happening around us that we sometimes miss because our mind is full of “other stuff.”
And by other stuff, I mean resistant or negative thoughts that are getting a lot of air-time or traffic from our constant attention or focus on them through our thought process.
If we have worked through any resistance we may have had from past experiences and are doing our best to move into better feeling, vibrational places regarding what we’re living now, we might not have a lot of resistant stuff going on, which means we are “stopping to smell the flowers” so to speak, or noticing the well-being that is always around us.
So our emotions are communication from the Non-Physical, Inner Being or Soul part of us letting us know whether we are moving in the direction of something we are wanting ( positive emotion ) or something we are not wanting. ( negative emotion )
It’s not possible for us in our physical body and mind to remember every desire we have ever had since coming forth into this physical body, but the Non-Physical part of us that has remained, yes you guessed it, in the Non-Physical realm, knows every desire we’ve had in this life, and for that matter in all previous lives, and is letting us know through our emotions, where we are in relation to all that we have desired in every moment of this physical life experience.
The question is not, are we receiving communication from our Inner being, for every one of us is whether we are knowing so or not, that is our birthright, the question is…have we been aware of it and have we understood what it has meant?
Many have taken negative emotion to mean whatever or whoever we’re observing while we’re feeling negative emotion is doing something wrong and needs to change their behaviour, whereas the true meaning is, the Non-Physical Inner Being part of us is letting us know we are now focusing on something we are not wanting to experience and emitting a vibration that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to, that will bring us something less than wanted if we continue with this line of thought.
So observing someone behaving in a way that we feel is inappropriate or unwanted does not mean that we have to try to get ourselves to like what they are doing, but it does mean that it would be beneficial if we put our attention on something that makes us feel better or on something we are wanting to experience.
It’s not the easiest thing to change our thoughts if we have become accustomed to noticing everything everyone is doing that we think is “wrong” or “inappropriate” as this will become something we see before anything else. Our focus on things other than “the flowers” causes us over time to no longer even see them!
So there is “good stuff” everywhere, but whether we are seeing it or not depends entirely on where our focus has predominantly been…. And where we have been, does not have to be the same place we are going.
Through the power of your focused positive thought you can make it so….

Feeling better….Or in denial???

Am I feeling better or am I in denial?
A question that can only be answered by oneself.
Why, because only you know how you are feeling about whatever you are giving thought to, no one else has the ability to get inside of you and truly know how you are feeling. (although those of us that are sensitive can read your vibration like a book!!)
I find this question to be very interesting but it is complex in the sense that denial often starts out as feeling better but as it progresses, (especially if it’s strongly negatively focused) can have a detrimental effect on our life.
Denial;
1. The refusal to grant the truth of a statement, situation or allegation.
2. The refusal to accept or believe something, such as a doctrine or belief.
3. An unconscious defence mechanism characterised by the refusal to acknowledge painful realities, thoughts, and/or feelings.

Most would agree with the general description above, but to understand how denial starts, let’s go to the beginning.
Many times denial begins from not wanting to accept a reality in our lives, in other words, not wanting to focus strongly and feel negative emotion about something that has manifested or is about to manifest in our life.
Why do we do this?
Because we want to feel good and if we are looking at something and believe we cannot feel good about it, it will often feel better to pretend this “not good feeling thing” is not happening, rather than facing the truth of the situation.This can actually be a good action to take if it’s not a personal circumstance in our lives or a situation that doesn’t really affect us directly.
Denial comes from some misunderstandings about ourselves and life, the main one being, “I cannot control how I feel, I am just a responder to whatever comes within my world.” Now nothing could be further from the truth, but if this has been what we’ve become accustomed to doing, it does take some time and effort to change.
It’s important to note the difference between trying to move a resistant situation to a better feeling place or denying it’s even happening.
When attempting to move our thoughts to feel better, we always acknowledge what has happened and accept whatever feelings have been stirred within us, making an effort to move to a better feeling vibrational place.( because we’re knowing how important our thoughts and emotions are and that we’re creating our life experience with them!!) Whereas if we are in denial the unwanted situation is completely avoided at all costs so we don’t have to confront how we truly feel about it.
By doing this it’s impossible to move our vibration to where we feel better, for we must;
1.Acknowledge something unwanted has happened.
2.Acknowledge we are feeling strong negative emotion about it.
3.Know this is something that’s important for us to move to a better vibrational place about.
4.Know we have the ability to gradually move ourselves to a better vibrational place.
And why would we bother to do this?
Firstly, isn’t it better to feel better, even if it does take a little bit of effort? For you cannot hide the truth from the Law of Attraction, just because we are in denial does not mean that those emotions aren’t pulsing strongly within us. For something strongly unwanted to turn up in our experience means there is something within us (that we may not be aware of) that the Law of Attraction has responded to, and if we allow ourselves to stay in a strongly negative feeling place,(even though we may have done our best to pretend those emotions weren’t there) more unwanted circumstances that have a similar feeling will turn up until we have dealt with our negative emotion and moved it to a better feeling place.
Sorry to be so blunt, but it’s true.
Now, depending on where you are in relation to what you are wanting and how strong the emotions are you are feeling about it, will depend on what action may be the best to take.
The more personal the situation or circumstances are for us, and the stronger the emotion we would feel if we allowed ourselves to feel it, the more important it is to face the situation and emotions that are coming up, (even if they are strongly negative) and deal with them.
If a lot of circumstances that are similar keep showing up with the same emotional feeling to them, this is a sign there are vibrations (thoughts and feelings) within us that the Law of Attraction is responding to and bringing us evidence of, ( adding power and momentum to and reflecting back to us the vibration we have originally sent out ) and it would be a good idea to do our best to move to a slightly better feeling place rather than pretending everything is “as right as rain?”
I am not suggesting we feel negative emotion from whatever is turning up and stay there feeling bad, or even worse, to focus our attention negatively and produce stronger negative emotion towards or about it, but I am saying, it’s important to initially feel where you really are even if it doesn’t feel great, and then gradually move through those emotions to a better vibrational place.
That’s the only thing to do, denial does not release negative emotion that is already within us, it keeps it there, where it usually grows stronger and therefore has stronger attracting power to it that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind to.
I’m sure deep down, within us all, most of us know this, but I understand it’s hard to hear sometimes.
If it’s a circumstance that’s not very personal to us that isn’t producing strong emotion within us, and doesn’t appear to be a situation that is reoccurring over time, it’s a good cause of action to just let it be.
In this situation I would say, it’s not really denial but just not wanting to bring unwanted circumstances into our general vibrational mix that aren’t so important to us or affecting our life.
Yep, no use giving ourselves more negative things to focus on and feel bad about…unless of course we’ve worked through everything that’s very important to us and moved to an awesome place on every subject, then sure, we can focus our attention on every other problem in the world and try to bring ourselves into a better feeling place regarding them…why not? Hehehe!!
No, but seriously, we would have to be a little bit crazy to do that, because as we start feeling better and start to experience the creative control we’ve achieved through deliberately moving our vibration (thoughts and emotions) into better feeling places, we’re less prepared, (not more prepared) to put our attention on people or circumstances that we do not need to, for we begin to understand we have nothing of benefit to give ourselves or anyone else unless we are standing in the true power of “who we really are.”
The truth is….You cannot deny what is within you, the truth will be constantly shown to you through the physical manifestations you attract, whether you are aware of it or not….

And so it is…..

How have I come to my beliefs???

We were not born with any human beliefs, we were pure beings before we made the choice to come forth from Non-Physical energy into this physical world. If you’ve had your own baby or been around other people’s babies you’ll understand what I mean. When we’re new to this world, we do not hold opinions of how when and why anyone should be doing anything, we simply cried for our personal needs we required for survival; food, warmth, comfort and love.
Of course it doesn’t take long before that little soul starts to acclimatise to the physical world, actually this has started before our physical birth, it began in the womb. This is a natural and normal process as our children grow, as it gives them a platform from which to learn how they’re creating their own lives. As the saying goes, “You have to start somewhere!”
Although there’s nothing wrong with the societies we live in, we do easily pick up the vibration (thoughts and emotions) of those we’re close to as we grow up, and because many weren’t aware of how they were creating their lives, it seems very predictable that we also may not be aware of how we were creating our lives.
In the big picture, this doesn’t matter for we’re all on a journey of self discovery to some extent, depending on where we currently are and what we know, but it’s also true to say we’re wanting the best possible experience in this life, for when we know how we’re creating our life we can reach places that may have only been distant dreams or wishes in the past.
So what do my beliefs have to do with creating my life experience?
Well, we’re creating our life experience through the thoughts we think and the feelings we have, about the thoughts we think. As we think our thoughts we have an emotional response to them, and a specific vibrational frequency matching the emotion we’re feeling is sent out to the Universe, which is responded to by the Law of Attraction.(That which is similar to itself is drawn)
I’m sure you’ve noticed that every time you’ve had a thought the physical manifestation of that thought does not immediately appear, so what’s required for the full physical manifestation of anything?
Power and momentum is required and is achieved through maintaining focus over time until you feel strong emotion, positive or negative, and if that focus is maintained, the physical manifestation must eventually come, it is Universal Law!
So as you think a thought many times, you will attract a physical manifestation that increases your belief, for now you have physical evidence of what you were thinking, that you now observe and think about more, and so it becomes a strongly held belief.
So a belief is simply a thought that has been focused on over and over again that has attracted physical evidence of it, which then becomes a strongly held belief and the more physical evidence you receive the more firmly grounded your belief becomes. So it’s easy to see how our beliefs come about and why they are not easily changed, they came into being with much attention and focus and are supported with an abundance of manifested evidence of the dominant vibrations (thoughts and emotions) within us.
This is the powerful Law of Attraction in action, but what happens when a manifestation turns up and we cannot see what thoughts we’ve had that have created it?
There are a number of reasons why this may be so;
1. When we’ve held a belief for a long time, it becomes part of who we are, and we may not be consciously aware of the thoughts we’re thinking now are coming through a filter of these strongly held beliefs.
2. If we have not been aware we are creating our life experiences through the thoughts and emotions we have been thinking and feeling, we may not have exercised any restraint to what we were giving our attention too.
3. The thoughts we’ve had that have pre-paved the way for the eventual physical manifestation may not exactly match, but the dominant feeling of our thoughts and the feeling of the physical manifestation always matches, you get how you feel. So this can make it a little tricky to see the connection between our thoughts and our manifestations, for we may be receiving something unwanted in our experience we’ve never specifically given conscious thought to, but if we look at the underlined beliefs and how we were generally feeling about this subject the manifestation will always match those dominant beliefs and feelings, and if we feel they don’t, we may not be aware what our beliefs and real feelings are for they may have been held for so long, they have become our normal way of being.
Depending on what you believe, I’m either overjoyed or sorry to tell you,(it’s usually a mixture of both to begin with!) We are the ones responsible for all that is manifesting in our lives, it matters not whether we are not aware we’re creating our life or whether we are doing it deliberately, the truth is the same, you get what you feel, focus and believe in, every time!
So what are you believing in?
Are you believing in all the evidence that surrounds you that this world is not good and getting worse, or are you believing the evidence that is all around you that this world is good and getting better? Because it’s all “out there,” both wanted and unwanted, for you can focus and attract to you the wonderful world you want to see, or you can focus and attract to you the world you detest and do not wish to experience.
Remember as you judge others and focus on what you feel they are doing that is wrong, so you begin the attraction process and the Law of Attraction brings you more evidence of that which you are focused on and believe.
The Law of Attraction is not judging anything that anyone is vibrating as “right or wrong,” but is matching the dominant vibration you have sent out and returning it to you in the form of physical manifestations.
This is a choice but if we have not been aware of the choices we’ve been making, and instead have observed whatever was in front of us or the things in life we’re not wanting, it probably doesn’t feel like a choice. It is a process, and it does take effort to move our beliefs into more of what we are wanting. It doesn’t matter who we are or where we’re sitting in relation to what we are wanting, we are all trying to live the best life we can, it’s just much easier when you understand how you have created your life.
It’s a good idea to pay attention to how you are feeling, for your feelings are communication from the Non-Physical part of you indicating where you are in relation to what you’re wanting, and as you do improve how you feel, this will improve what you are attracting which then increases and strengthens your belief, and so the cycle starts again but in the direction of what you are NOW wanting!

A little word about living in the present moment….

I remember when the catch phrase “living in the now” was what many people were speaking and writing about, and although it did bring a lot of awareness to many people, some of it was confusing. Many discussions revolved around the concept that having an ego prevented one from truly being present in the now.
This depends on your ideas and perspective of what ego is.
If we look in the dictionary, you tend to see two main distinctions of what the ego is;
1. The self, being separate from the world and others, and consciousness that controls thought and behaviour.
2. Appropriate pride in one’s self; (self-esteem) or an exaggerated sense of self-importance; (conceit)
The first description describes what the ego is, whereas the second description describes the two common ways it’s often exhibited as behaviour.
In the past the ego has had a bad reputation because it’s been associated with people who have judged and seen themselves as superior or better than others, and yuk, it’s never nice to be around such a person as this, that’s for sure!
But maybe we’ve had a one sided perspective about it? There’s always two ways to look at anything, and that’s either positively or negatively and there’s a large variety of emotional places within both perspectives, but it’s not possible to be focused on positive and negative at the same time, you’re either negatively focused, or positively focused in the moment.
So the negative perspective of ego brings our attention to trying to gain things in a ruthless and uncaring way with no regard for others, whereas the positive perspective of ego brings our attention to knowing the power of who we really are, and that we have the ability to achieve what we’re wanting without the need to hurt others. It’s about being true to who you are, but also allowing others to be true to who they are.
I suppose the ego has had such negative connotations for so long, it’s hard to think of this word in a positive way, so I prefer to say, the “self” instead of ego, for the sake of keeping the feeling of the word neutral.
So what’s really happening when we’re being or behaving as our negative self?
Firstly it’s important to recognise how our negative self has been created. This usually happens when we’ve been brought up by others who didn’t know how life was really working, most did do their best so it doesn’t help us to blame, but it does help to know how you got where you are. So it’s quite normal that we walk down a similar path to those that taught us, it’s often not until things start going off the rails we start to question what we’ve been taught, and we may have a feeling that somethings not quite right? So this propels us into a new journey of discovery, a journey of coming into an understanding of who we really are.
Sometimes the very thing we are judging as bad, wrong or unwanted is exactly what someone needs to move things forward in a positive direction. You see, we’re all on the same path in a general sense, we’re all on a journey of self discovery, but that journey will be completely different for every single one of us because we’ve all come forward with different intentions and we’re all in different places in relation to those intentions so the path that leads us into the full and wonderful discovery of who we are will be different for everyone. It’s not to say that one way is better or worse than the other, it’s just different. That’s why I often speak about not judging others, because we just don’t know where they are in relation to what they’re wanting, and even if we do, if they’re not in a place to hear any advice, it doesn’t have the positive effect we’re wanting. We don’t have to like what others are doing but we must accept, that for them, it could be the next logical step that will lead them to the next and the next and the next. All we can do is know that everyone is doing their best to move in a better direction and into more of what they’re wanting, in the same way we are.
For me this is a way of making peace with what others are doing, I do my best not to focus on what others are doing if it doesn’t align or agree with what I am wanting for myself, for I know, by judging and focusing on what others are doing only includes that unwanted vibration within me, which then means with enough focused attention, I have the possibility of bringing similar feeling experiences into my life. I know not focusing on unwanted circumstances you believe are affecting you is more easily said than done, but it does get easier with practise, and in time, as your focus improves, you are no longer attracting so many unwanted situations, for the negative vibration that was bringing them to you has been replaced with a more positive vibration, and that’s what’s now being responded to by the Law of Attraction. So depending on where the majority of your focus is, things are often getting worse and worse, or better and better.
So what about when we’re being our positive self?
Through knowing how life is working, we start to remove resistance from past experiences by moving to better feeling places and understanding more fully how and why these things may have happened. Once we’ve let go of negative thoughts from past experiences, we’re no longer bringing it into our present thoughts, which means you have stopped the negative attraction of what you are not wanting!
Have you observed people who have had negative experiences in the past, and although the people and places in their life may change, they seem to create the same situations over and over again?
If there is much focus on unwanted circumstances without moving to a better feeling place, we can eradicate all the people involved in this unwanted scenario, but if our thought does not improve, we will create similar situations again. This is the Law of Attraction in action, it’s the Universes way of showing you what you’ve got going on vibrationally. And you answer every time with the power of your thought, so it’s a good idea to pay attention to how you feel for your emotions are communication from the Non-Physical part of you, your Inner Being, letting you know if your thought is positive and moving you in the direction of what you are wanting, or negative and moving you in the direction of something you are not wanting.
So it’s hard to be truly focused on the present moment when you have many things from the past you have not dealt with or moved to a better feeling place on, and it often prevents us from seeing the good that’s happening now. Focusing intently on anything that we’re doing now and dealing with what is manifesting in our life in the most positive way we can, helps to bring us more into the present moment. We don’t need to go back and rehash the past to move through any resistance we have about it, because everything we have going on vibrationally from the past is showing up now, in one way or another, whether we know it or not. If we focus on what’s happening now and move to the best feeling place we can regarding it, we will move through any resistance we have.
Remember, we did not come to a resistant place in one day, so celebrate the small improvements you make, for many small improvements over time make a very big difference to your life experience!

I know there are many who have overcome difficult situations, and have come to a place where we’re understanding the benefit of all we’ve experienced. Nothing can be more life enhancing than experiencing the resistance of your own thought creation and overcoming it, for this takes us to more amazing places that we may not have been able to experience had we not dealt with our unwanted manifestations. Of course we do not create these resistant circumstances on purpose, but they are part of being in physical form in this physical world. There will not be one of us that gets our thought so quickly aligned with our Inner Being and in such a good place, that nothing unwanted will ever come. This is part of accepting being physical, but I will say that we have the ability to hone our thoughts and feelings (vibration) to such a place, that any negative thoughts that are within you show up quickly and intensely, giving you the opportunity to move through your resistance and get to the other side. There will be no holding on to resistance for years and years and living the manifestation of it without awareness, those days will be gone. We’re coming into a time of heightened awareness, I’m sure you’ve noticed there are many coming to know who they really are and how life is really working, and just as a drop hits the ocean and ripples out in all directions, so those of us that know have the same effect.
I feel I have something very important to say about this. I know when we discover wonderful things about life and how it’s working because we’ve experienced it in our own lives, not just in theory but in our reality, we’re overjoyed and excited, and of course we want to share that with everyone we know, especially the ones we hold dearest and love the most, or others we see living highly unwanted circumstances in their lives. But I’m sure many of you have already experienced and know, it’s very difficult to help someone who is sitting vibrationally, a long way away from where you are.
When someone is sitting in a vibrational (emotional) place that’s very different to the other, for example someone that is happy compared to someone who is in rage or anger, it’s very difficult to find anything they agree on for they sit at opposite ends of the emotional scale and are seeing the world from completely different perspectives. Both perspectives are true, for when you’re sitting in a general place over many subjects, whether it be in joy or rage, that’s what’s being presented to you by the Law of Attraction. So people are not joking when they tell you why things are not working out for them, this is their experience, this has become their truth through the power of their own resistant thoughts and they will find it hard to hear anything differently.
So we all have the ability to uplift people, and those that know how life is working are sitting in a very powerful position (power over self, not others) and others feel something about your knowing, even if they’re unsure of what it is they’re feeling. To uplift someone that’s in a substantially different vibrational place from you, you must dominate and control your own vibration by standing firmly in your knowing, and not be encouraged out of your vibrational place by the other persons vibration. When we’re communicating with others, the person with the strongest vibration will always dominate the conversation or group, although it can change as subjects change during a conversation. You know you’ve lost your own vibrational alignment if you start feeling the need to convince others of your point of view and it becomes a disagreement or argument with both parties giving as many examples as they can of why their way is the “right way”.
Nobody likes being told they’re wrong or that they could be doing something in a better way, especially if they’re not seeking this information as this often causes them to justify and explain how and why they’ve got to where they are to try and convince you to their way of thinking.
Because it’s not possible to speak of something with strong emotion without emitting the same vibrational frequency, these types of conversations often set people more firmly in their resistant place which is the opposite of what you are really wanting to do! Now if you do stand firmly in your vibrational place, you will be able to speak the truth you know and they’ll understand what you have to tell them while you’re with them, but what happens when you are not around? Well, they’re often very confused.
Why is this?
We have not come to what we believe in one day or from one thought alone, it has been an accumulation of many similar thoughts, words, and actions over long periods of time that eventually become physical manifestations. Once something has physically manifested, now we are observing it which strengthens our belief in it, then we think and talk about it again, and so the cycle goes on and on.(which is awesome when you’re focused on what you want) What we believe has a lot of momentum and power behind it and will not be simply changed by one or two conversations, and almost never if we don’t have the desire to know and change. So even if you do dominate the vibration of the other encouraging them into your vibrational place, when you leave, their vibration will return to their normal place but they will be confused about what you have told them. This can cause a difficult situation where they want to be with you because it feels so good to be in your presence, but afterwards they’re confused, and may not feel good about what you’ve told them.
I have learnt some very strong lessons from experiences like this. I no longer give advice to anyone unless they’re seeking it, and you can feel when someone is ready to hear. It’s better to just let people be and accept we’re all different, for although words may help when we’re ready to hear them, ultimately we learn through our own life experiences. We all have our own journey and there are many paths to the same destination, so let those who want to hear from you come, but don’t force anything on anyone, for in doing so you make them wrong, and they are not wrong, they are doing the best that they can, just as you and I am!
