Do you remember it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow???

Valentines Day Quote
This is something I asked my husband as I drove home today, just interested to know if he was even aware it was Valentine’s Day tomorrow!!!
That probably gives you an idea of how important it is to him….Hehehe!!!
Anyway, his answer was “Babe we don’t need to celebrate Valentine’s Day, every day is like Valentine’s Day to us!!!”
And I say, what a greaser…..But it’s hard not to smile at that well-prepared answer don’t you think???

I totally get it why heaps of people aren’t that happy to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I’m sure I could make a long list of all the reasons why people don’t like it. But I won’t since this is supposed to be a blog focused on the positive side of life, not all the negative thoughts and beliefs we hold that may be stopping us from experiencing the fullness and richness of what this life has to offer us!!!(Opps, I do do that sometimes….Can’t solve a problem when we don’t know what the problem is, right???)

Although I understand the objections many have to celebrating such days, we can over think things, because after all sometimes it’s just nice to do something for someone you love without making a big issue out of it??? If we don’t feel like we can get ourselves into a good feeling place about doing something nice for our partner, we are better off to do nothing. There’s nothing worse than receiving something from someone that’s resentful about giving it!!!

Sometimes it’s an excuse for not wanting to get off our butts and do something out of our normal, often boring routine……Just another job on a long list of stuff we don’t want to do.
And I know it often doesn’t feel good to give to someone when there’s a very high expectation that we should, for appreciation is often low in these circumstances, but the way I see it is…. Something given to another with a pure and loving heart is worth so much.

It’s not about money or feeling we have to do something for someone out of obligation. It’s about love….Pure and simple love….

And so it is….

All emotional states….Are a temporary state of being!!!

Reflection2
Although this is a truthful statement, as always nothing is completely black or white, but includes many shades of grey especially when it comes to our physical experience on this planet.
This statement speaks to the truth that we have control over the emotions we feel as they come in response to the thoughts we think, and when we have mastered the thoughts we will allow ourselves to think through the power of our focused mind, we then have the ability to be the deliberate creator and producer of the emotions we’re wanting to experience rather than purely a reactor to what happens around us with little or no conscious control over what we think and how we feel.

As we think any thoughts and hold them in our mind for a short period of time, the Law of Attraction adds power to those thoughts making it much easier for us to think similar thoughts on whatever subject we’re giving our attention to at that moment. The accumulative effect of this over experiences and time is very strong and can be why even when we’re making an effort to improve our thoughts, we easily slip back into the well established vibrational groove (Ooooooh, that’s cool, “Vibrational Groove.” Hehehe….) we’re most commonly at, our General Vibrational Place.

Ultimately we do have power over the thoughts we think and how we feel, but when we’re trying to improve our thoughts on a subject we’ve felt a certain way about for a long time, it’s not the easiest and quickest thing in the world to change. It does take time and focus to improve our vibrational place but remember, just as the Law of Attraction added power and momentum to our old thoughts the same will happen with our new thoughts, and once the new thoughts are the strongest vibration within us on whatever subject we’re giving our attention too, they will be the thoughts we have the easiest access too and what we’ll be creating our future experience from, and that’s a very good place to be!!!

As we become more aware of how this Universe and the Law of Attraction works, things we may have previously not taken notice of that we prescribed little or no meaning too, start taking on much deeper meanings and we start to recognise and see these signs and what they possible mean for us. They aren’t always good feeling or wanted signs, but they are always what we need to move forward in the direction we’re wanting to go. It’s when we can see all that happens in our experience, both wanted and unwanted as being opportunities for deeper understandings and knowing (especially when dealt with positively) that we’ll be propelled forward and that’s when we start to move into accessing the full power of who we are!!!

Every person that comes forward into a physical life knows this, for this knowing is part of what makes us who we really are. If those that surrounded us as we grew up didn’t know and teach us how to focus on what we’re wanting by directing our thoughts and feelings in a positive direction because they themselves didn’t know, we may have experienced temporary memory loss, forgetting that we are the creators of our own life experiences. I say “temporary memory loss” because it’s not possible for anyone to permanently eradicate part of what makes us who we are and it’s only a matter of time before those that have forgotten these truths find themselves on a journey of remembering and discovery.

No matter where we are on our journey and how much we’ve come to remember and understand about this life……There’s always more.
~ It’s not a race to see who knows the most.
~ It’s not about declaring ones self to be better than others.
~ It’s about being able to create the life we’re wanting to live and to possibly pass something positive on that we know may help others live more of the life they’re wanting to live….If they’re in the place to receive it of course???

I don’t know about anybody else….But that sounds pretty good to me!!!

And so our journey together continues….

Will I break my New Years Resolution???

Lampost3
No, I definitely won’t break my New Years Resolution!!!
How do I know this…..Because I don’t make them.

I’m not for or against anyone making any sort of decision at any point in their lives whether it’s on New Years or any other time, especially if we’re feeling inspired to do so.
But it’s a good idea to consider and become aware of some things that may either hinder or help us work towards whatever it is we’ve set down for ourselves to achieve.

The most important factor to ask ourselves when making any decision is….Am I in a positive feeling vibrational place about the changes I plan to make???

I’m assuming that thought has been given to what we’re wanting to achieve, what we believe we need to do and the possible changes we’re prepared to make to achieve what we’re wanting. If we haven’t given thought to what we believe we need to do to achieve our desired goal, our words are likely to be a bit empty and hollow, more of a wish or dream that we don’t really believe is possible. This is not necessarily a bad thing because we all need to start somewhere….Don’t you think???

It’s not often that the instant we decide to do something our belief, what, when, and how to do something is automatically known to us. It’s a process that takes some time and focused thought before all the required components are fully revealed through our experience. Taking the time and using our positive focus to get our thoughts in a place where we believe what we’re wanting is not only possible but probable, we give ourselves the best opportunity to move forward in a positive way. When we maintain that vibration place over time with emotional intensity, it’s only a matter of time before the best way for us to proceed is revealed to us as the Law of Attraction continues to respond to our positive vibrational place adding power and momentum to it….And that’s a very good thing!!!

It’s a good idea to have some sort of plan about what we think we may need to do to achieve something, but it’s just as important to be open-minded and flexible enough to change what we may have thought we need to do into a new direction as different maybe better alternatives are revealed to us as our thought improves. Being too rigid and specific in our plans and not being prepared to try a different approach that we had not previously considered can send us down a path that may be more difficult to achieve whatever it is we’re wanting.

When we initially make a decision to do something, we often have positive thoughts behind it, otherwise we wouldn’t feel the need to declare it to others. Not that many people will tell everyone what they’re intending to do if they don’t believe they can do it. Something to consider about doing this is it often puts undue pressure on us, especially if we encounter unknown bumps in the road, (and lets face it that happens all the time) and our path diverts from our original destination.

I know many people are wanting to be supportive of others but when we find ourselves in a position of having to explain what we’ve been doing and why what we’re wanting to achieve hasn’t eventuated yet, and other questions we may not yet have the answers too, this can be difficult to feel good about.
The best answer to such questions is, “When I know….I’ll let you know!!!”

Sometimes it’s better to keep our decisions to ourselves until we have some positive momentum behind what we’re doing. This gives us the opportunity to find our way without the added pressure of others watching and questioning what we’re doing. Of course no one can really put pressure on us, only we can do that to ourselves. Some may think this pressure can help them to achieve what they’re wanting, and in some circumstances this is possible, but more often it doesn’t, especially if things are taking much longer than what we’ve expected.

The moral of the story is….

~ Any decision we make from a good feeling place is a wonderful thing, whether we start in the New Year or any other day of the year.
~ Make decisions from the best possible feeling place we can find avoiding taking action from a less than good feeling place.
~ Continue to make an effort to improve self-belief and how we feel as time passes and be open to change as new circumstances unfold that may move us in an improved direction.
~ Unwanted circumstances are an opportunity to release resistant thoughts we may not have been aware we had to our own desires.
~ It may be a good idea to keep our decisions to ourselves until we have a good amount to positive momentum going behind us.

And mostly, be kind to yourself xxx

And so our journey continues….

It’s easy to feel good when good things happen….

Sunset1
Now isn’t that the truth!!!
But the trick is, or more to the point, the truth is….

It isn’t just how we react when good things turn up that matters and may determine our future experiences, although this is important. Just as importantly, it’s what we do when things aren’t all going our way that also effects what we may attract into our lives. Our future experiences are created by the length of time we focus, and how much emotional intensity we give any subject. Whether our focus is on something that’s happened in the past, is happening now, or is something we’re imagining that hasn’t yet happened doesn’t matter, it’s the strength of our focus that matters and creates.

When unwanted circumstances turn-up, sometimes we’re prone to give them a great amount of focus. This would be good if our focus was directed in a positive good feeling direction on all the good that may come from our experience and possible solutions or changes we may need to put in place to move forward in a more wanted direction. It’s not about pretending we like things we do not, that’s never a good thing as it doesn’t work through negative emotions within us that may be attracting unwanted situations into our experience.
Dealing with unwanted circumstances in positive ways means we’re much more likely to move through any emotional resistance we may have to whatever manifested so that similar circumstances don’t turn-up again in the future!!! Now that sounds very good….Don’t you think???

If we’re in a vibrational place that isn’t too far away from this perspective and if we’re feeling generally happy in our lives about many things, it’s not too hard to redirect ourselves into a better feeling place when unwanted circumstances happen. This is because power and momentum is achieved behind how we feel as the Law of Attraction responds to the vibrations we are constantly emitting, and when we focus strongly and positively on anything, whether it’s wanted or unwanted, we release resistance and create even more wanted future experiences. It becomes our normal good feeling vibrational place to go to and be in without having to make too much effort to get there…..And that’s so awesome!!!

Once we’ve come to understand how we’re creating our life experiences through our own observation of how we feel and what manifests, it may take some time and effort to move our thoughts and feelings into a better vibrational place if we’ve focused for some time with negative emotional intensity on unwanted circumstances.
The good news is…..Once we have an awareness that we’re creating our life it’s not possible to undo this knowing and it’s only a matter of time before we start to exercise the true power that’s within us all.

The power to feel good apart from whatever’s happening.
The power to focus strongly on the good that’s around us.
The power to acknowledge what’s unwanted and move forward positively.
The power to create what we’re wanting in our own lives.

That is a TRUTH that’s worth believing in!!!

And so it is….

What’s more important than being HAPPY???

Reflection
That’s a slightly misleading title, because no matter what we’re doing, we are doing what we feel will achieve or at least get us the closest to the results we’re wanting. A more descriptive question would be……What circumstances do I require or need to achieve before I will allow myself to be happy???

There are many conditions we may or may not be aware of that we’ve put in place to be met before allowing ourselves to be happy such as;

~ It’s more important to be right.
~ Those I talk with must understand what I’m saying.
~ Those I talk with must agree with my point of view.
~ Others I observe must behave in an appropriate way.
~ Things must work out how I am wanting them too.

I can imagine what some people may be thinking….Who doesn’t like it when others understand them and behave in ways we find appropriate. And is there a person living that doesn’t love it when circumstances unfold how they’re wanting???
Of course not, we all love it when we have these types of experiences, because lets face it, it feels so good!!! This is also evidence of the positive vibrational place we have maintained overtime with emotional intensity that the Law of Attraction has responded in-kind too, and when we’re knowing this….That is an awesome feeling that is beyond Physical description!!!

So we could say, yes I’m happy once I’ve proved myself as right, (and others as wrong) are understood or agreed with, and when others behave appropriately. But anyone that’s lived here for some time knows that we’ll always come up against the opposite of the things we’re wanting to experience at some point or another in our life. It isn’t whether we’ll observe or experience unwanted situations in our life, that’s the nature of being in this Physical world. What is important is what we do and how we react when we’re faced with unwanted circumstances and challenges.

It’s all about what we focus on at these times, and what we continue to focus on after an experience has happened that determines what we’re attracting into our future experience. If we can focus on the positives in any situation, this ensures we’re creating the best possible future experiences for ourselves and moving through any resistance we may have to what’s currently happening. This is a very good plan of action, but are empty and hollow words to those that have been focused on all they find to be wrong and unwanted in the world and their experience……

If there are circumstances we’ve been strongly negatively focused on for an extended period of time, it’s does take some time and effort to move our thoughts into a better feeling place…..But once we’re noticing the link between what we’re thinking and feeling and what’s turning up in our life experience, I don’t know anything else that’s worth making more of an effort for, do you???

When we’re knowing we create our own life experiences through our focused thoughts and feelings,(our vibration) we start to realise there are very few circumstances that are worth feeling strong negative emotion about for any length of time. I’m not suggesting we should pretend we like things we clearly do not…. No, that falls into the category of denial, and that rarely brings anything we’re wanting into our lives.
If we only allow ourselves happiness when circumstances unfold exactly as were wanting, we set ourselves up in a situation where we may be unhappy for much of the time. This attracts vibrational matches in the form of thoughts, people, places and events depending on the amount of time we’ve spent being unhappy, and the strength of our negative emotion.

It’s an impossible task to try to control or manipulate others into doing what we want them to do so we can be happy and usually ends in all parties involved being miserable. And I’m sure most have realised, everyone else that’s living hasn’t actually come to make sure everything unfolds in our lives the way we want it too, they’ve come here to create what they’re wanting in their lives, just as we have.

So the moral of the story is….

~ Appreciate experiences and interactions we have with others when things are unfolding as we want them too.
~ Try to see the benefit that comes from all experiences, especially unwanted circumstances, this quickly moves us into a better vibration place about it and releases resistance.
~ Acknowledge any negative emotions we have to past or present experiences and make an effort to move our thoughts into a better feeling place, even if it’s only slightly.
~ Avoid relying on others to provide our happiness….It’s not their job, it’s ours.
~ Wherever we are and whatever we’re doing, even if it’s less that what we’re exactly wanting, is moving us ever so much closer to all that we are, and all we are wanting….

And that has to be a good thing….Don’t you think???

And so our journey continues…..

Don’t Blame it on me!!!

DuckPond
These are lyrics from the recent awesome song Blame, by Calvin Harris featuring John Newman.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard someone utter, “Don’t blame me,” or “It’s not my fault”….I would totally be rich!! Hehehe

Although there are very real consequences that come from the actions we and others take, if we’re starting to understand we are the creators of our own life experiences and that we create those life experiences through our own focused thoughts and attention…..One must come to the realisation that blaming others for circumstances that have manifested in our lives is a futile and counter productive endeavour.

It doesn’t mean that blaming others is wrong. It’s not really a matter of right or wrong but more a matter of, does blaming others move us in a direction we are wanting to go in or is it moving us in a direction of something we are not wanting to experience??? (Law of Attraction)

If blaming others feels good, this is because we are moving into a better feeling vibrational place than we were currently in before we choose to blame. In other words, moving from a less powerful place to a more empowered place which is a natural and good occurrence. This is our natural tendency and desire to feel as good as we possibly can at any given moment in time.

So blame can be a good short-term place for us to be in as long as we don’t get stuck there for too long. It’s quite a strong negative emotional place to be in and does draw unwanted circumstances if we allow ourselves to stay there without making the effort to move vibrationally.

I like to think of it as a bit of a balancing act between taking responsibility in a positive way for what comes into our experience and acknowledging that everyone is in different vibrational places that we don’t have control over. It’s virtually impossible to remember every thought and feeling we’ve had to every circumstance we’ve experienced in the past, so these small unwanted occurrences can be a good opportunity to move into a better vibrational place on something we might not have been previously aware we had a vibration about.

It’s difficult not to blame when we feel someone has done something with the intention to hurt us, and this does take some time and effort to move to a better vibrational place about, but it is important to do if we want to create improved circumstances in our future experiences.
If we do find ourselves in situations where others are intentionally being unkind, it’s a good idea to walk away, but if we feel we must stand up and say something, speak as calmly and emotionally neutral as possible being prepared to walk away if they want to argue.
It’s also good to remember that how others behave is more about who they are currently being, rather than it is about who we are currently being.
I do not say this in a negative or revengeful emotional way but more as a statement of fact and Universal Law…. If those that are intentionally being unkind to others knew that they would eventually receive back that which they have originally given out, they would not be doing such things….

Focusing as much as possible on the aspects in our lives that are good and on what we are wanting in a positive way is a great way to receive more of what we love and are wanting…..And I say, “That is so Awesome!!”

And so it is….

I’d like to make the world a better place…..I just don’t know how…..

Earth
It is not possible to change others. The only hope of changing the world is to change ourselves for the better first.          Paulette De-Har.

This is something someone said in general conversation, and as soon as the words were said, a whole bombardment of thoughts entered my mind as to the answer to her proposed question.
Of course, it was a question asked without the intention or anticipation of receiving an answer too, more of a thinking aloud moment than a real desire to know the answer.
The truth is, it’s virtually impossible to receive answers to questions we don’t believe there are answers too. When people say they want to “make the world a better place,” often what people really mean goes something like;

Through my personal experience and perspective on life, I have come to know what I think is the best way to live and what I believe is “right or wrong,” but as I look around, I see many people doing things I don’t agree with, things I find to be wrong. Initially I tried to control those around me but have figured out that’s a very difficult task to accomplish and doesn’t usually end well, so I suppose I’ve just come to the conclusion that there’ll always be things out there that I have to accept are not what I’m wanting, that I don’t think I can feel good about. (God damn all those people out there that aren’t living their lives how I think they should live!!! Hehehe… Oops, sorry if you don’t think that’s funny!!)

See the hopelessness in all of that….

We cannot make the world a better place for everyone else to live in, that’s not our job. We did not come forward into this physical world to control others and tell them how they should live their lives based on our life experiences or to change everything to how we feel it would be better for others. Each came here to decide how to live based on their life experiences, and that’s the way it’s supposed to be, it’s no accident.

But we absolutely came forward to make our own world a better place by focusing on all we’ve decided from our own personal experience and perspective, how we’re wanting to live. It’s not possible to eradicate any part of this world we’re currently living in. We make our world the world we’re wanting to live in by focusing on all we are wanting and find to be good, and that’s what the Law of Attraction will bring to us. Focusing on all that we don’t like or don’t agree with from a not good feeling, negative, vibrational place, will bring us something quite different to what we’re wanting….

Many have come to know it’s not possible to control any other for any great length of time. Even those that may have initially liked being guided and controlled by others, eventually find these circumstances intolerable as they grow up and have more life experiences helping them to decide more clearly who they are and what they are wanting out of life. For those that are either harshly controlled or trying to control others, there will eventually be an awakening, usually in the form of strong manifestations that helps them to move forward in a more positive direction.
For the controller, it’s about letting go of control and learning to feel good apart from requiring everyone that’s around them to behave in a certain way, so they can feel good.
For the controlled, it’s about coming into our true power and standing up for who we are and what we believe in a positive, good feeling way.

It’s not something we really need to worry about though because whether we’re aware of these things or not, opportunities are constantly being presented to us every single day that are gradually helping us to move into better and better places.
We are making the world a better place by focusing and attracting more of that which is good into our own lives, for that gives more positive things in the world for everyone to focus on and attract into their lives….And so the cycle goes on!!!

Talk about the cycle of life!!!

And so it is….

Our intentions are everything!!!

WrittenSky
No action, good or bad, comes from nowhere….All things that happen in this physical world are preceded by thought that’s been given focused attention over time that the Law of Attraction has responded too until we experience the full physical manifestation of our thoughts and emotions, our vibration.

Many people speak about the best intentions meaning nothing if action doesn’t follow those intentions….And I say, nothing could be further from the truth.
Absolutely nothing good could ever happen if it was not first preceded by good intentions and thoughts, end of story, and taking action because others feel we should or before we feel ready makes whatever we’ve decided to do harder with more bumps in the road than if we’d taken action when it felt right. (Remember, if it feels good, it is good…..And if it feels not quite right, it isn’t quite right!!)

When our intentions and thoughts are strong and given continued focused attention, it eventually inspires action, if action does not happen, not enough power and momentum has been achieved to inspire it.
If we do take action before we’re ready it doesn’t matter too much, it just means that some resistant unwanted circumstances may arise giving us the opportunity to release whatever resistance we’ve still got going on. Once we’ve moved ourselves into a better feeling place this helps to propel us into even better, more wanted circumstances and experiences than before!!

If we’re often wanting others to take action on the good intentions we believe they have, this sometimes comes from a need to see people behave in a way we see as “appropriate or nice,” so that we can feel good as we observe them, and of course it’s nice to see others doing nice things, but when our disapproval and focus is strong when we feel people are not being “nice,” we may find ourselves faced with many examples and circumstances where people aren’t being nice, through our own focus and therefore attraction of such things!!!

So our intentions behind what we’re thinking, speaking or doing means everything, whether we’re taking action on those intentions or not….For there’s no hiding from the Law of Attraction and Universal Law, our intentions are continually broadcasted loud and clear and we will eventually reap the rewards of what we’ve originally given out, whether we’re aware of it or not.
How someone takes something given with positive intentions depends greatly on where they generally are in relation to what’s happening, for even the nicest action coming from the best place can be taken in a negative way when one spends most of their time in a not good feeling vibrational place.
When things don’t turn out as we’ve wanted or someone has not taken something we’ve said or done in the positive way we’ve intended, the fact that we were coming from a good place with pure positive intention and that we’ve been true to who we really are, has to be enough….

And so it is….

Life’s like a box of chocolates….You never know what you’re going to get???

DarkTree
I’m not sure who the first person was to coin this phrase, but for me it was best said in the movie Forest Gump.

Whether this phrase is true for us or not, depends mostly on what our beliefs and experiences have been in this life.
Although this may be the experience or truth many people are living to differing degrees, it always comes from a lack of awareness of what we have been emitting vibrationally through our long-held focused thoughts and emotions that the Law of Attraction has responded to with similar feeling manifestations.

So the more aware we are that we’re creating our lives through our thoughts and emotions, our vibration that the Law of Attraction is responding in-kind too, and the more aware we are of how we’re really feeling at any given moment in time is…..The more likely we are to know what may turn-up in our future experience.

Although how the Law of Attraction works is consistent and reliable across all circumstances and situations, even with very strong awareness of these Laws and how we’re feeling and therefore what we’re attracting, there are times when it may still be hard to predict how and when something will make an appearance.

What we’ve attracted through our vibration is delivered to us by the Universe in precise timing and from what is currently available from our surroundings, which may not always be something we’re expecting even though it is a vibrational match to us.
This is often when our faith or belief in our knowing of how life works can be put to the test, and how we deal with these unexpected “bumps in the road” can determine how we move forward.

I’m sure most of us have experienced a challenge that we’ve overcome in a positive way that’s propelled us forward to even greater places and experiences we may not have been able to achieve if not for the challenge in the first place, this is the “silver lining” that is present in all situations…..if we believe it’s there and we’re looking for it??? Whereas in contrast to this, a challenge not dealt with in a positive manner often remains as an area in our life that continues to move us in an unwanted direction, especially if it’s still thought about often with strong negative emotion. In these circumstances it’s important we take the time and effort to move forward positively or to let go of the emotional resistance we may still be holding onto in relation to whatever happened.

It doesn’t matter too much if we don’t make as much positive movement as we’re wanting when something presents itself to us at any given time, because everything that’s happening in our lives is an opportunity to move forward in a more positive direction, no matter how wanted or unwanted the circumstances are.

So let me re-phrase the title….

Life can be like a box of chocolates…..But if we’re starting to become aware of what’s been put in the box, we can usually predict what we’re going to get back out of it, and if we do get a surprise we don’t like, it’s not the end of the world when we know we can choose something differently next time!!

And so it is….

The “Best Decision”….Is not always the easiest decision that gives us the quickest gratification!!!

SaharaBird
Although I have used the description “best decision” in the title, in reality there is no decision that is ultimately the best decision to make. There definitely are choices that will reap better results than others, but any decisions we firmly make that we’ve put all our positive thoughts and feelings behind are good decisions.

It’s true that not many people like not feeling good, actually I don’t think I know anyone who likes not feeling good, that being said, sometimes the need to feel instant gratification or to remove or change circumstances that make us feel uncomfortable immediately, can sometimes cause us to make a choice that short-term may help us to feel better, but long-term does not move anyone in a direction we’re wanting to go in.

This can be especially true when dealing with the little people we may have in our lives, our children. They come forward from Non-Physical with a stronger knowing of who they are than any previous generations, and are not easily guided away from that knowing by others that have been here longer than they have and have mostly forgotten who they really are.

Although coming froward with this strong knowing is very good news….For many it does require some different parenting styles to be learned if we’re wanting to be parents that guide and inspire the best out of our children. From harsh control and discipline, to letting them do whatever they like as long as they’re happy, and we’re happy as we see them happy approach, the middle ground between these two extremes is a good place to aim for.

I know we love our children very much, and it makes us feel very happy to see them happy, and this is a great thing, but when we base our decisions on what will make them the happiest in the short-term so we don’t have to deal with the often unpredictable (or sometimes very predictable!!) extreme behaviours that can follow not getting what they want or from experiencing the natural consequences of their choices, this is not usually in their best interests and does not help them to understand how this Universe is really working, and well, that’s not ideal. (I’ve said that very softly!!)

It’s true, we can do things and make decisions that prevent them from experiencing the full consequences of their actions. The problem with doing this is it makes it hard for them to see the connections between how the choices they make bring semi-predictable consequences which can cause them to start making decisions without the knowledge of what could possibly happen…..Which is ok when we’re always there to make everything alright, (Well, no it isn’t ok, but I think you probably know what I mean) but we must at some level accept that they will eventually be without someone who is prepared to dedicate their life to making sure everything runs smoothly for them. Someone that will run around and try to make their experience better by trying to prevent them experiencing the consequences from the choices they’ve made!! No, they will not find another who will do this for them….

Of course no one wants their children to experience strongly unwanted circumstances, and I think most of us would try to lessen this happening if we knew such circumstances were coming, but that’s exactly why it’s important to let them experience the small unwanted consequences of their actions, because once they’re aware of the link between what they’re choosing and what’s turning up, and it becomes a strong knowing and awareness they have based on their own first hand experiences….Now they are so well prepared with what they need to know to be on their own and create what they’re wanting in their own lives!!

And I believe it would be very hard to find a parent that didn’t want that for their children….But that’s just me….

And so it is….
